I didn't notice until the GIF came out that Bruce did something (He kicked the mercenary? Or avoided one of the mercenaries that fell down?) in that scene where Catwoman was uncuffing Fox.
I noticed it last time I saw it in the theater. It sounded metallic when he slid it away, so I assumed it was a gun. :funny:

*Talia walks into the stock exchange. Or her doppelganger. Bane scans the floor room, makes an audible noise in his mask, and then nods to her. Unless someone has a better explanation.
Same conclusion I came to. Similar height, build, hair etc. all kinda point to it being Talia. I noticed the lingering shot on my first viewing but didn't really think about it until my third or fourth.

An explosion of new GIFS and screenshots out there now.

Selina's megawatt smile when sitting in the car next to the Congressman.
"I like your new girlfriend, Mr Wayne!"

Just noticed the doc says Bruce doesn't have much use of his elbows and shoulders...gotta be a reference to Keysi.

You know, I just realized; couldn't Bruce have just left instructions for Blake to find the cave by means of just pressing the certain set of keys on the piano inside of Wayne Manor instead of having him go in the hard way?lol

Gotta earn those gold stars and man up!

Wayne Manor was turned into a home for orphans. No way he'd want to go straight in there. Too many people could find out.

Check out the angry glare HathCat gives Batman on the rooftop after he says "no guns, no killing." When she says "where's the fun in that?" she really means it. Such a dynamite performance.

So I noticed something after another viewing. Maybe it's been touched upon here, so I'll go ahead and ask you guys. When Catwoman helped Lucius and Bruce escape, why couldn't Tate or anyone go too? I mean, the guards were knocked out and their guns were just sitting on the ground. Did Tate and the rest of the prisoners seriously just sit there and wait for the guards to regain consciousness?

It's possible (even likely) that Bruce had already decided he needed to move on from Batman at that point, and had no intention of telling "Tate" that he was Batman once upon a time. Plus then he'd have to babysit her during the whole war thing, and it wasn't clear at all if she could hold her own like Catwoman could. :funny:

Haha that's actually a good point. I forgot he knew the bomb was going off the next day. You think he'd at least say something to them, though. Like, "Hey I can't bring you guys anywhere, but you should totally run away from this (now completely unguarded) prison area. Unless, you know, you want to keep hanging out with the people imprisoning and killing you. Try the south tunnel or something."

I just watched it again and you're right. It was a gun. :funny:

I know, everytime she's on screen in costume I get goosebumps.

It helps we had someone like Anne wearing it but the costume looks jaw dropping in the film. A polar opposite reaction to the complaints people voiced during production. It's funny, Stryver's comment of "is it hard to walk in those?" seems like a little dig at that time. To which Selina responds with a sharp kick. :funny:

Some other things became a bit more clear:

*Daggett and Stryver take notice of Selina at the Wayne Manor party.

*Both Selina and Talia pick up the photo of Wayne's parents. Selina does it when she thinks no one is looking (she looks choked up about it when looking at their photo, her reaction is candid) while Talia does it when she knows Bruce is looking (to manipulate him).

*Talia walks into the stock exchange. Or her doppelganger. Bane scans the floor room, makes an audible noise in his mask, and then nods to her. Unless someone has a better explanation.

Talia was in the stock exchange!?

Ohhhhh is that Bane who was nodding to?! Was it?! Where were Stryver and Daggett in the masked ball?!

Seeing the scene between Bruce and Alfred when Alfred confesses about having burned Rachel's letter and its contents; damn, even now, that scene is still so freaking powerful. Never thought that I'd see the day where Alfred and Bruce would have a scene like that between each other, let alone where Bruce was placed in such a vulnerable spot.

If anything, out of ALL of the Batman films out there, TDKR makes me emphasize and feel sorry for Bruce the most and it makes the conclusion of his arc, one where he survives and moves on into a happier life with someone that makes it that much more better/powerful/satisfying.

Yeah Talia was definitely there. I went back to that scene and it was definitey her. Her outfit matched exactly with the cut scene between her and Lucius.

Cool. That's so cool. So that's who Bane was nodding at.

Very interesting. I'll have to check it out, but that would be cool. Adds a bit more to her character's devious ways along with ratting out the National Guard with them getting hung up, and giving Gordon the wrong bomb location with the trucks.

On an unrelated note, I liked Bruce losing his money, because it really worked amazing with the 'Aggressive Expansion' cue during the boardroom scene, and when Bruce goes back to Wayne Manor in the rain. It felt right. The house empty, Bruce losing it all, but still has Batman. Then then that is taken from him.

The food guy's bag with the sandwich he gives to the stock guy says "STEALTH" on it. lol Slaughter is the best medicine (TDK). These guys are a riot.

Theatricality is a powerful agent. That was his first lesson to Blake.

Yeah like what I said at the other thread, that scene gets better every time you watch it. Some brilliant acting from both Caine and Bale. They slaughtered that scene.

If only Alfred caught that part of Bane nodding to her on tape. Wasn't he watching the surveillance from the stock exchange? :hehe:

Was over at Nolanfans.com, and there was a quick clip of when Batman saves Blake posted from youtube. I didn't realize how quick and lethal Batman was during that fight scene. He even does the Keysi push technique then quickly front kicks one of the thugs.
