When Batman presses the button on his belt that summons Superman, he can say 'here comes the Cavill-ry'.

Batman "bailing" out on Gotham has nothing to do with Superman giving up on Metropolis, lol.
It's just a stupid pun to revert back to Bale. You shouldn't be looking into it at all. :hehe:

I like were you're going with this.

Batman approves.

David Bowie with... Gordon and Talia!

hey guys! im new here and wanted to get some feedback on the concensus of members who believed that bruce survived. yes i have watched it about 10 times and get the clues and everything, but that dang scene of batman in the cockpit along with the timer on the nuke at 5 secs throws me off? can anybody give me a possibe explanation? i think i have wrecked my brain with ways he could have survived. :csad: any feedback would be greatly accepted

i guess i am still looking for closure on the subject that bruce survived. also i did notice that he has the scar on his head that bane gave him when he nods to alfred, but still nolan is a tricky bugger with his movies and like i said with a 6 mile blast radius and all the established rules of this nuke in the movie the shot of bman looking as though he is accepting death has not allowed me to fully embrace that bruce actually survived. i really wish someone would come out and confirm it from the studio or somethn. i want to know he survived!:yay:

I think the top was still spinning. Bruce be dead!

Bruce Wayne is alive.

The idea of showing the time going down while Batman was still in the cockpit, imo, was just to make the viewer believe Batman couldn't have survived, but he turned the auto pilot on and only made it seem as if Batman sacrificed his life. Bruce moved on and passed the mantle down to Robin John Blake.

The ending was definitely nothing like Inception.

thx anno! so you think that shot was inserted for dramatic response?

Bruce is alive and knocking Selina's bony behind.

No problem

And yes. I think Batman escaped way before the countdown got down to five, but that whole scene was just for dramatic purposes. Much like how I don't think we see Bruce traveling from The Pit's location to Gotham City because it's for dramatic purposes when the audience sees Bruce next when he meets with Selina. As the viewer feels the same way as Selina does in that scene, when the bomb ticks down, the viewer feels the same way as those orphans and John Blake does when we see the bomb going off, destroying The Bat along with it.

My biggest problem with the entire idea of the bomb is that zero radiation was mentioned that could have still traveled to Gotham City, but I digress, lol.

Well, if you're gonna quit being a superhero, I think Anne Hathaway is definitely a good reason to quit :awesome:

Right before Bruce meets Selina for the 1st time, he lifts the service cover, and there is nothing

Would that imply that Bruce's life was empty (or at least since he hetired) before meeting Selina ?

h as anyone noticed the scar bruce has on his forehead when he nods to alfred at the cafe? you know the one where bane brutally beat in his cowl? doesnt this have to be undisputed evidence to anyone that believes bruce perished?

has anyone noticed the scar on bruces head in his last scene? you know where bane had brutally beat and cracked his cowl? isnt this enough concrete evidence that he indeed did survive, and not some senility from good ole alfred
