It's been 8 years (Jun 15) since Batman Begins was released. :wow:

MoS has nothing on Begins. That is all I'll say.

8 years... shocking how much life has changed in that time.

Still my favorite superhero origin movie and it only gets better with age. :hrt:

I cant really compare Begins to MOS. One is more down to earth, the other is a pure sci-fi film. Most will say Begins is better written and MOS has WAY more action...but I like them equally.

I don't think you can get a more definitive origin for Bruce becoming Batman and I don't think we'll get a more definitive origin for Superman than MOS. Even though things were changed in both from the canon, they're both taken seriously. Krypton isn't glossed over, neither is the fact that he's an alien. You wont find better actors either.

So ill say it's a tie for me.

I had a big exam about a week after BB came out. I decided to focus on studying then see BB the afternoon of finishing that exam. So, I had to wait an extra week or so. It was a fantastic experience. The one thing I remember is that the volume in the theater was especially loud. :)

Ehhhh....

I need to watch Batman Begins again, but right now the films are tied after seeing MOS today. I just loved that film(and don't understand the criticism...I was fine that there wasn't much humor). I can definitely see how Man of Steel is inspired by the template of BB though, but it still made its own mark with reboots, imo. Now I want to see a reboot origin film done right for Spidey.

You got your priorities wrong! :argh: :oldrazz:

We already got it. :oldrazz:

I'm watching TDKR on HBO for the first time in almost a year. I forgot how much I loved Hathaway in this movie. She's probably my favorite person in this entire trilogy. She's great!

Her character is helped by the fact that she has the most scenes with Bruce out of the entire cast in the movie, and might have more scenes with him than any other character in an individual movie in the entire trilogy, or is at least up there pretty high.

Far from my favorite character in the comic canon, but she's more tolerable than Blake, that's for sure, despite me thinking JGL did the best he could to bring a stupid character to life.

Enjoyed MoS. BB still remains my favourite origin story of any superhero and my personal favourite Batman movie.

Of course.

I'd rather not see another Spidey origin ever again. He has too many great non-origin stories to be wasting a film on. Same goes for Bats. If WB is smart (unfortunately not), our rebooted Batman should already be Bats.

I'm watching it on HBO too. "You're in for a show tonight son" is my favorite GCPD cop after Gordon. I love him. :funny:

I just tried watching it and my very being wreathed. My eyes in agony. To go from uncompressed high def Blu-Ray to the compressed HBO broadcast is sickening.

It's better than anything I have, cause I don't own the bluray or DVD.

That "Why Do We Fall" track... :hrt:

There is a movie with the same name that came out last year :oldrazz:. I would recommend it. :p

This film you speak of...it's better than The Amazing Spider-Man film I saw?

Ehh, a true-to-the-word origin doesn't need to be made, although a film where it starts off where Peter is Spidey, but just references of how Peter got there would be satisfying. I just didn't like what Webb tried to pull with TAS-M.
