Great list of comics references. Another one is Bane of the Demon, where Ra's imprisons Bane in a prison pit that Bane eventually climbs out of.

I actually didn't realize it was a different fight choreographer. That makes some sense. It's definitely wonky in places, but it doesn't seem to bother me as much as it does others. Probably because I'm a very audio-oriented person. Meaning watching a gif with no sound looping over and over again is a very different experience than watching a scene play out in context, with sound effects and score, etc. All of that really goes a long way in selling the illusion of what's happening on screen for me. I mean to be honest I never noticed any of those goofs before they started getting posted here ad-nauseam as gifs.

EDIT: We lost Paul Jennings, as Tom Struthers was promoted. Jennings may not have been perfect, but he was better than this.
