I'd even go a step father and call this a great ending for the Nolan trilogy not just a good one, especially that ending which I still get chills from to this very day. I've never gotten the hate for it either even going back to the IMDB days after if first came out and there was nothing but backlash and toxicity surrounding it.
Its not a perfect film by any means, but it does have some great moments in it like the opening sequence or the sewer fight and one thing I can definitely say about Hardy's Bane is that he had a scary, menacing presence in almost every scene he was in even if his voice did sound a bit ridiculous at times.
Hans Zimmer's score is also as epic as ever and just watching this on tv yesterday I was reminded how just how beautiful the cinematography in this film is, especially those shots of Gotham covered in snow. Nolan made sure the budget was onscreen and it showed and its just refreshing watching a big, blockbuster comic-book/superhero film like this again that doesn't rely heavily on CGI alien armies or skybeams and is more reliant on incredible looking practical effects and set pieces.
