IGN got to play around with Ryse and its safe to say they're not too impressed. They said it looks beautiful but plays clumsy and unresponsive.

I'm too used to Forza now. Love that game & I'm not getting more than 1 driving game at launch. BUt The Crew definitely looks interesting and innovative.I think I want The Crew to be my driving game but I do want something at launch with replay value. Probably BF4.
Well they could have done like Sony did and released in NA first on Nov 8 and then 2 weeks later on this Nov 22 date in EU. The issue of supply wouldnt have mattered as whats produced later would go to EU. They didnt have to launch on the same date but i guess they were intent on that for whatever reasonI don't think it's that surprising. It's been heavily rumored that they are having stock issues, which is possibly the unofficial reason they had to pull from some territories, to make up for it in the countries they are stronger in. Going before Sony would be two weeks of units that I think they really need.
It also still gives them a week before Black Friday to get a new shipment out there.

Xbox One Day One Edition now bundled with Forza Motorsport 5
Apparently there will be some bundles with Forza 5 free instead of FIFA 14.
I don't have the numbers with me but I'd guess in NA Microsoft dominated. Probably 65%-35%. If Sony can pull that number even to a 55%-45% split, I think they'd be happy with that, considering how much more popular they are worldwide.Sony consistently does better than MS in EU with the PS3 so I dont see that changing with the PS4. EU really is what kept them from being a far third place this gen. Their numbers there are pretty solid and it isnt all about the US.
As for Black Friday, the consoles would still be 399 and 499 wouldn't they? There would be no deals on them this year right?
I think the gap will get bigger in non UK Europe at launch. And on top of that obviously MS aren't going to do too well in those territories in which it's not even opening at launch lol.Sony consistently does better than MS in EU with the PS3 so I dont see that changing with the PS4. EU really is what kept them from being a far third place this gen. Their numbers there are pretty solid and it isnt all about the US.
