I actually have no interest in 3D bluray.

but I see it as a feature that the PS4 lacks.

And Sony is so mum on when/what their updates will cover.

That's one thing I do appreciate about the way MS updates the X1. They are frequent and upfront about them.

Now.....if only they can add mp3/mp4 playback........

Battleblock Theater is the free game on the 360. I'm really enjoying it, so far. It's very stylish, and it seems to be a fun platformer. I would recommend a DL.

Yeah, Sony are the ones who do all this for a living, you'd have thought they'd lead every time on this sort of thing. I'll be very interested in what they do with PS Now on their top end 4k sets.

3D Blu Ray!! Wow!!

Sony better get their **** together and start updating the PS4.

Thats been my biggest gripe with the PS4 so far, is the lack of updates. And its not like the system couldnt use them.

I personally don't care too much about 3D support and would of rather this update included digital preorders though.

oh yeah. that's one thing that's frustrating with the PS4.

not that I care for most of the X1 updates ( most important to me would be mp3/mp4/media support ). but some of them, like external storage support, are pretty important.

and even more important, is that MS updates the X1 on a frequent/regular basis ( seems like every month so far ), and they are upfront and open about it.

I'm telling you. All they need to do is announce that a future update will bring mp3/mp4/media support, and they've got me. especially if those features are still nowhere to be found on the PS4.

and circumstances might actually allow me to get an X1 much earlier than I anticipated. so..........fingers crossed.

Sony really needs to get its **** together.

The Xbone is going to catch up if they don't step it up. The PS4 really should be able to do anything the PS3 can do (sans playing PS3 games, at least).

Right now you can't even change the color of your background or play a damn CD.

So, I've never actually bought a used game console, but I found some good prices for the One on craiglists close to my area. Wondering if I should take the plunge or just wait for some bundle this holiday or perhaps something on Black Friday and just get a new one.

great, well unfortunately you're one person and good 3D actually looks really good - I like watching sports in 3D, and I like playing my 3DS, if I still lived with my parents I would totally hook up my xbox one if some 3D supported games came out

I don't think 3D games are going to happen. In all honesty that's passed.. Sony had a few of their games come out in 3D on the PS3... And that was it. I'm not knocking anyone who enjoys 3D but it's pretty niche now, not being pushed nearly as much as "the future" like it was. I don't see anyone wasting time or money on 3D games.

Fantasia would have probably been cool in 3D.

I also think it's completely unrealistic for Sony to maintain an extreme lead on the Xbox One.. They could win the generation still.. And they very well may.. But it's not going to be by a large margin. I know many guys that picked up and enjoy heck out of their PS4 but will now be getting a One due to no Kinect a 100 dollar pice cut and the Master Chief Collection.

I do not get all this Winner and loser stuff. People play PS, great. People play Xbox, great. We all are having fun then.

As for 3D support. It is about time. Was tired of having to keep my 3D BR player connected still.

Now.. if MS would just fix this issue where TV surround sound works for a month then all of a sudden stops working for a month, then starts again...ect..

I agree to an extent, but 3D games on the last gen weren't anymore to the consumer than a non 3D game, just a great option - I think 3D makes gaphics on games really pop a lot, so much better than movies that have been filmed in 2D and convereted to 3D as the games are 3 dimensinal worlds, it's like looking through a window in real life, did you play any or the 360 or ps3 3d games? they looked good

Yea I said at the start of this gen that we'd just see a mirror of the last, with Sony holding the overall lead. I don't see that changing and I don't think it matters

Yea I agree. I remember when ppl were saying the war was over with Sony claiming the win and I'm like ok, so does that mean my xbox won't turn on now? I don't think you can "win" a console war, you can lose, ie the dreamcast, but not sure you can win.

Yeah, thinking about it, I'll probably just wait. I have to get a new TV anywho, so that's $300-400. Just better to wait. There's not a huge amount of non-cross gen games out that I want right now anyhow.

Yea there is. If you were only going to get one Forza or one racing game DEFINITELY get Forza Horizon 2. Not only does it look incredible, it builds on a supremely fantastic base set by the first Forza Horizon. The whole music and car festival scenario it plays off of is just really really cool. The first one does a great job to immerse you in that culture. I personally cant wait for Horizon 2.
