Toys R US usually has a Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal around XMas. hopefully that will apply to the X1/PS4 games this year ( can't remember if it did last year ).

With the extra savings, I can look into games more.

I have three new titles in mind, Halo, GTA V, and Unity.

I intend to pick up some of the older Xbone games for 15 a piece (Black Flag, Tomb Raider, etc).

Really hoping I can snag Wolfenstein for 15. But I'd probably take it for 20.

Wolfenstien is awesome. Also.. Call me crazy but I don't see Microsoft raising the price of the One back to 400. I can totally see them saying that they were so pleased with their Christmas sales numbers that the XB1 will continue to sell for 349.99.

In response, Nintendo instantly drops WiiU to 99.

and that's why, as interested as I am in the X1, and as attractive the deals are this holiday, I'm also tempted to wait another year.

The $350 price could very well become the standard price of the base console. And a standard black 1TB console could also become available in the $400-$450 range. and who knows, maybe for holiday 2015, we could even see a $300 X1.

also, there's still a "trust" issue for me. If the price cut, bundles, and exclusives this holiday still fail to boost X1 sales past the PS4, that would be quite telling.

we are not whining about it. I'm not asking again "Where's my 1TB model in time for Christmas."

we are discussing the recent price cut, how that might factor into next year, and how a 1TB model would seem likely, for both the X1 and Sony.

I'm sorry.......but I've been patient the last few days, being "called out" on my constant posting about the same subject. I get that it may be excessive when I'm constantly asking/complaining about the same issue. I've said I'm going to tone it down.

but that doesn't mean I should be restricted on what I can post about here on the Hype.

edit: and I don't mean to sound "snippy" with you, Benstamania. I just think.........you guys need to let this stuff go. don't let what other people are posting/discussing bother you.

If 1TB, or media features, or whatever isn't an important issue to you, just don't get bothered by it when other posters discuss those issues.

I mean.........lots of stuff gets discussed here on the Hype. when I see posters talk about something that doesn't interest me, I skim past it and don't get involved. I generally don't complain about what other people are posting about, except for when there's obvious trolling.

There is actually enough discussion on the subject to justify a hard drive thread, and not just 1TB lol. It'll be a lot more relevant in a year or 2 when even non-regular gamers who download all the GWG games will be filling up their standard 500 GB, but might be worth starting now if people really want to talk about it a lot.

I'm sure most will hate the free game in Nov, but I love side scrollers, so I'm interested in it.

Xbox One Gold members will be given free access to Volgarr The Viking - a game making its Xbox One debut. The side-scroller is reminiscent of retro gaming, with hard gameplay and only a few buttons at your disposal.
