It varies. I've been told every day of the week at every store.

Supposedly, Sony is going to start actually giving good games for free every month for the PS4 starting December.

I wonder if Microsoft will do that. Some people are saying that's why Ryse is not for sale on the online store anymore (I guess I could confirm that very easily). So they think it will be free in December.

Which in light of Sunset Overdrive bundle users getting it, that makes sense.

ah, I see. well I'll check back Tues to see if Diablo is in stock again. and sometimes, they say it's out of stock online but when you go to the store, they still have it.

and yeah, I'd imagine MS will start giving away AAA titles with Gold to match Sony.

hm, polygon always seems to give xbox exclusives high scores and not so great scores for playstation games. do they have any affiliations with microsoft?

To be fair, the Xbox exclusives have been better.

I mean, Knack was nothing special. The Killzone and Infamous titles for the PS4 were clearly rushed, and suffered as a consequence.

Sunset Overdrive has gotten rave reviews, and the Halo Collection is made up of three incredible games and Halo 4.

Totally not happy with my purchases. All three will be traded in by the end of the month (I like Sunset enough to finish it, doubt I'll finish Mordor or Lords). At least I still I have GTAV which I'm guaranteed to like but now I'm nervous about Dragon Age. I just don't seem to be taking to the new franchises I've been trying and I haven't played the other two to know if I'll like Inquisition for sure.

A little more hesitant to give Far Cry 4 a try now too.

The archery controls really poorly and the hack n slash gameplay is really easy with the counter button making it almost impossible to die. Only beasts getting involved put you in any danger.

i'll say the following. the only good thing about killzone sh was the graphics, and iss was way too short.

so, has anyone else had this happen?

you press the A button to confirm something, but it doesn't click or respond. so you have to press the Home button to back to Home, then launch the App again and then it works?

last night, I decided to try out my CoD codes to make sure they worked. the good news is, they all worked. the only issue that I had was, after redeeming one code and unlocking the content, when it went back to the screen to redeem another code, I pressed A to select redeem code and nothing happened.

so I had to go back to Home then relaunch the Store app, and then it worked properly.

Twitch screws up for me all the time. Any time I launch twitch after I was just playing a game, it gives me an error code when I go to a channel I wan to watch, so I have to back out, hit the home button, close the app, relaunch the app, and then I'm able to watch. Youtube does it sometimes too, although, not as much as twitch.

oh, so it's the app itself acting up and not the controller?

cuz I just bought a standard black controller, and I was testing it out last night when I ran into that problem.

also, it's kind of odd, but the bumpers on my black controller seem less "clicky" than the ones on the CoD controller.

I think I'm going to use the black controller going forward and save the CoD one as backup.

Your system will still DL if it's off, as long as you didn't tweak the settings. That's what I did with COD. I started it up, turned off my system when I went to bed, woke up and turned my system on, and it was finished.

Anybody getting Geometry Wars 3 on the 26th? I'm pretty stoked for that game.

I could be wrong but I believe it will continue the download in "low power/instant on" mode when it is "turned off". Honestly I never checked, I just download a game and turn my xbox off for the night.
