as long as xbone trails behind the Ps4 worldwide, we might not. But the actual sales numbers are estimated to be 10-11 mill.

New update adds Quick Connect and stability improvements.

A new controller update is available for Xbox One preview program members, Microsoft announced.
The update provides the following improvements:

• Quick Connect – previous controller connections to an Xbox One took 4-5 seconds when powering on a controller, now they should occur in ~2 seconds.
• Stability improvements – the firmware also provides a number of fixes that address issues submitted by customers and preview participants.

Xbox One preview program members can follow these steps to update:

• Connect a controller to your Xbox One with a USB cable. Keep any headsets connected to the controller.
• Connect to Xbox Live.
• Press the Menu
• Go to Settings > Devices & accessories. Select the controller.
  • If you have multiple controllers attached, you can select Buzz – which will cause the selected controller to vibrate.
• Then select Update to download the new firmware to the controller attached via the USB cable, and the screen will show the Updating controller … progress screen
• When you see the Controller updated screen, press ‘B’ to go back to the Devices & accessories main page
• Reselect the controller, the Firmware version, should now be: 1.2.2236.0

The update should be available later on for non-preview members.

Are game instalations and updates faster than on PS4? I remember they were always way faster on the 360 than PS3.

Can you download&install certain new games a week in advance before release day like on PS4?

From most accounts, install times and stuff of that nature are slower on Bone than the PS4. But I've never had much problem with it.

You can apparently DL the free game for next month already. I haven't played it yet, but the videos I've seen makes it look like an old school Atari version of Smash. Could be interesting, but it could also be garbage.

Are you talking about preordering/predownloading? If so then yea you can. Thats how I do all my games. Ill buy it the night before, go ahead and download then its ready to play at either 12:01 am or 3:01 am depending on your location and the publisher. Some publishers unlock their games at 12:01 EST others will unlock at 3:01 EST.

This Windows 10 stuff sounds awesome. When I get fully free in a year or 2 I'm gonna upgrade my gaming pc to absolute beast and play on that while communicating/playing with Xbox friends.
