Oh well, yeah, they obviously have since they produced two F2P games for Xbone already.

Oh, another F2P that's pretty recent is Dead Or Alive 5 Last Round. It's sort of the same thing as KI, but I think you get 4 fighters instead of 1.

I didnt know that was F2P. That one I might be interested in as theres only like 2 or 3 fighters i even remotely like in the DoA series.

I wonder once all the KI characters have been released if they'll release a "complete" retail edition that includes all the characters.

same with Fable Legends. I'd imagine they'd release a retail version with all the characters, like they did with season 1 of KI?

Like what? I cant think of a legit reason to get one lol.

the X1 has more robust media features than the PS4. now, that could change if/when Sony ever decides to add those features to the PS4. but, it would still lack all that TV integration stuff.

so, if you want your console to do more than just games, and you want it to be your enterntainment hub, then the X1 might be a better choice. that's a legit reason for the right consumer.

another reason. MS is more transparent and frequent in updating the X1. As a PS4 owner, that's prob my biggest peeve. At least with the X1, you have a reasonable expectation that they will keep on adding features and improving the console.

also, as far as multiplats performing better on the PS4, it's debatable how much better they are on the PS4. everyone's harping on the whole 1080p vs 900p or whatever.

but, I played DAI first on the X1. then switched over to the PS4. The PS4 version looked and performed pretty much the same as the X1 version.

I didn't notice a dramatic increase in graphical/performance quality. :o

so, in reality, unless you analyze the frames and resolutions in minute detail for a living, I think you'd be hardpressed to notice any significant difference.

They did with Season 1. Wouldn't be that shocking to see them do the same again.

It has a F2P version and a full priced retail version. The four fighters in the F2P version is Ayane, Hayate, Kasumi and Ryu Hayabusa

If you didn't or don't have an XBO but we're considering getting one between now and may..What would be your top reasons for getting this over PS4 or simply just getting it in general?

I think what spiderman2 meant was that in essence, there's nothing that compelling about the xbone that makes it worth buying if someone games on a PC or already owns a Ps4 unless they want all the xbox exclusives.

imo, the features on the xbone does make it worth having if you're also into xbox games though. i wouldn't get it just for the features though.

If you gotta have you your halo, you gotta have your xbone (halo 5 doesn't come out by may but it will drop q4 this year)

So that's pretty much the only reason? The games are the most important but the control and software features is essential too

i'm sure there's other reasons, that's just what I think off the top of my head. it's also the only console with suspend/resume, ea access, and then there's th dx12 crap that's supposed to make games better on it if devs use it

With the suspend/resume feature, you can really actually turn off the console then turn it back on to automatically go to a game/app or how does it work?

I don't think the console is off, it's probably more of a standby mode so that you can go right back to where you left off on it.

Honestly, the only reason I got a Bone over the PS4 was because MS is publishing and funding an exclusive game from Platinum studios. Most of the other games I'm interested in are multiplat. It's like...I don't really dislike Sony's 1st party output or anything, but I don't have any real interest in them anymore. Like UC4 is something I would probably play if/when I get a PS4, but I lack any real excitement for it. I don't particularly care all that much for MS's 1st party output either outside the Platinum title as mentioned. I'll get Sunset Overdrive, too, but I'm not in a rush to do so.

All the other stuff like media features and **** don't matter to me. I have a multitude of devices that do these things and don't have this apparent crave some people do to have a multimedia machine. I'm perfectly okay having other devices. It really was that single game that brought me over the top since the vast majority of games I'll be playing on either system with be on both (outside Nintendo games obviously).

What games have Platinum developed?

Bayonetta 1 & 2
The Wonderful 101
Madworld
Vanquish
Anarchy Reigns
Infinite Space (kinda, more of a co-development situation)
Metal Gear Rising

Hm,A lot of good ones but not of my interest

mS seems to work closely with platinum games

scalebound looks like the single most interesting new IP of the new generation

oh yeah. I think if you already have one console ( or a gaming PC ), there's less reason to get the other console.

unless there's a game on the other console that you have to have.

or else you've been somewhat dissatisfied with your current console ( like I've been with the PS4 ).

but, if one had neither console and was looking to buy his/her first new gen machine, right now, it's pretty much even between the PS4 and X1, and there are legit, good reasons going for each.

certainly much more even than what it was back at launch or the early parts of last year.

if I didn't already own a PS4, I'd probably be leaning more towards the X1 now due to its media features and current lower price.
