Is that the new dashboard for neXbox?

At first I thought it was cool and futuristic/high-tech looking But the more I see it..Looks like a giant clusterfu**!

What is it Soapy? You can't post that **** and run :woot:

Sorry. :oldrazz:

The second image...

...is from a video from a couple of years ago showing a guy demonstrating the "Future Microsoft Interface" or something vague like that.

The first image...

...is just a thing Major Nelson posted recently. Which I guess is notable because the design is very similar to the interface shown in the video the other picture was taken from.

Well I don't love it at first (second) glance.

Yeah, maybe it's that 'resistance to change' thing :woot:

I hope the 'Guide dashboard' is a lot faster to respond though. I really hate navigating it when you're in a party playing a multiplayer game and get messages.

Are there any rumors about BC?,This is one way it could get an upper hand on PS4

& bringing over your previous XBOX Live accounts & Digital Purchases would be nice. I sure would like not being forced to re buy DLC & full Digital Games again

I'm not sure if they'll have BC but they better let you keep your purchases. I'm not buying them again. Have about 300GB worth of bought content.

New leaks from ms event supposedly. Has 12 gigs of ram and faster graphics processor than Sony... Also rumored to be called Xbox NOW

That's 4GB's more than the last rumor, and a much faster processor. The older rumors said PS4 had the better processor, but Nextbox had more RAM.

So 1 of 3 things, if this is true. Old rumors were false. MS saw Sony's specs, and beefed up the new Xbox to top it, possibly explaining delays. Or MS it could be misinformation released to further hype the event.

If this is ends up being true though, I wonder what that'll set the price at? If Sony's low end is going to be $400, MS is either going to have to take a big initial hit (considering the PS4 most likely costs more to make than $400 as is), or go with a $500+ low end model. Which that's not even calculating in if they add a Kinect 2 in each box, which is also rumored.

12 Gigs sounds like overkill lol. But then nearly every possibility has been rumoured at some point. Time to wait & see :woot:. Although I'm not sure about "XBox Now". Preferred Infinity.

If it was misinformation shouldn't they go lower so that the conference is surprisingly good. If they say 12 now & it's less then it will be a downer and drag on the genuinely good stuff.

I read the same rumors and I believe it was 12 gigs of GDDR3, compared to Sony's 8 gigs of GDDR5 (which tech-heads say is more efficient). But Microsoft wants to be able to point at 12 gigs and say "look, we have more ram than Sony!" even if its not technically better.

Xbox NOW!?.."I'd like to buy the Xbox NOW"/"Oh I just bought the NOW"/"I have the NOW"/"Yes I want to pre-order this game for the NOW"/"NOW is awesome!"..

Not a good ring to it!

people without it sufficient knowledge of computers arent going to know the different or care. 12 looks better than 8, even if stacked side by side, its not as good. Well played MS. Probably wont matter as the PS4's ram seems a bit overkill and more than they'd probably need for a long while so MS will also be in a good position with what it allegedly has.

Found this on it:

Xbox Now! leaks just ahead of its May 21st event
>> More info has appeared on the 'net regarding Xbox Now!

It seems the latest info has leaked out regarding the Xbox Now! system, and it shows that the specs for Now! are even higher then previous rumors claimed!

We are almost at the big event date of May 21st, when under the big tent that Microsoft has setup, we will learn all about the new Xbox Now! console, and just ahead of that event some more information has leaked out, showing that the specs. are very nice.

* There is now a full 12 gigabytes of high-speed RAM in the new Xbox Now! console, unlike the previous rumors of only 8gb.
* To be precise, there is 4gb GDDR5 on the GPU and 8gb GDDR5 on the 8-Core IBM custom CPU.
* The GPU is the first GCN 2.0 GPU produced and was designed by special team of MS+IBM+AMD.
* Eric from IBM will be a speaker on the 21st. with more info like the fact the GPU specs. are a mindblogging 4.9 TFlops.

And finally Dutch journalist Jan Meijroos said on Twitter his Xbox Now! papers for Tuesday say 'hands on', that will be real slap on the face for Sony, if the Xbox Now! is right there 'available now' to try out within the big tent for everyone to see and hear in real-action!

So the specs technically aren't as good as PS4's..But is it still good enough for a next-gen console?

A possible hands-on is great,There should be tons of hands-on previews all over the net during the week

If we're talking about 360/Ps3 like difference... No one will care.

It's probably another BS rumour (I definitely don't like the name "Now!" :csad:) but the rumour is that it has 12GB GDDR5 Ram (see above link) which would be more than PS4. It's also a lot more than any game will need or use for a long time. As long as both machines have at least 8 they'll be fine. I think I'd probably rather have 8GB and a better name. :woot:

annoyed that this thing is going to air in the morning when im at work :(

What sites are doing live-streaming of the event and at what time??
