sounds better than avengers, entire city destroyed, lets go get some shawarma!

New York City isn't destroyed in Avengers. At all. That's actually a pretty important part of the final battle.

And the reaction to the collateral damage is at least addressed in Avengers as apposed to MOS.

how is calling someone hot make you a moron, army officers arent machines. They are allowed to say w/e they want, kinda the point of american free speech. Some people make such a big deal out of one line in a 2hr 23min movie from a extra who managed to get a line in the film. some of you are hilarious.

You sound like one of those people that would be commenting on RT reviews if that was still allowed.

I'm still stoked to see this movie, but I gotta say these RT ratings are very disappointing. Lower than Superman Returns? What?

Man of Steel at this rate is gonna end up under 60. oh well lucky I have a brain and I decide if I like a movie or not

It might not but it isn't going to be above 65%. maybe 61

Well, and I can say this now, I loved SR. And even when RT rates are being lower now, I feel I'll love MOS even better.

I kind of figured that the collateral damage would be addressed in a sequel. That's seems like something Lex Luthor would want to point out in his crusade against Superman: trying to make the public realize that superpowered beings are a danger to society.

David Edelstein's negative review on RT just got counted twice, because his review was posted on two different sites. He's a top critic too. Wtf? They need to correct that.

You guys need to relax. See this movie for yourselves it is quite amazing. Seriously, f--- The critics! You and the GA are what matters. As far as RT goes, I hear there are a lot of positive reviews yet to come. Some even in 2's and 3's together.

RELAX! It's not the end of the world. It is still early. This should fall at 75%-85% when all is said and done.

I remember back when movies had to earn sequels instead of expecting them to fix the problems of previous ones

Avengers at least had 2 follow up scenes with discussions from both Earth (shadow) officials and Thanos about the NYC battle.
MOS touches briefly on it, but the city is so destroyed they should have had shown Cranes repairing or something like the Mayor or President say something. Heck even the president addressed the Bane takeover.

i was routing for this to be way better than Avengers, it is not.

That's is a BOLD statement.

I love your optimism but how are you privy to such information?

It even looks like it's the same review word for word. That's kinda hilarious but still I don't know how they made this mistake. Hell just have one of the top critics post hi positive review on 50 different websites and we're all set.

Exactly. End of this one it's all smiles and business as usual. Considering the destruction in this one is exponentially greater than both Avengers and TDKR it was a major detriment to the story telling that the devastation was ignored.
