Oh geeze. This is putting me on the spot...haha
Currently, I think it barely makes the top five....with a second viewing it may get that number five spot...but then again this is also coming from someone who can't give you a proper order on where the placement lies regarding my top five. I do know that TDK and Batman Begins are one and two respectively.
Is it the same kind of disappointment many of us felt when we first saw SR? In fact how would you compare MOS to SR? Is MOS way better or not so much?![]()
Oh it's FARRRRR better than SR. To me, SR is just a glorified fan film set in Donner's universe without giving Superman fans something new to chew on.
This has a lot more Superman-esque qualities that I know fans like me and you guys are going to just squeal with excitement.
I think this problem is some writing and flow issues...and I don't want to get into spoilers but like in The Dark Knight Rises...there were character moments that bothered me. =/
Top five sounds pretty good to me!After all, I can't expect everyone to love this film. I'm more worried by people who say that they hated it, or that it's as bad as Green Lantern... *shudders*
Green Lantern has made Game of Thrones the second most depressing thing that's been on HBO in the last week.
How was the music?
Without giving anything away do you think MOS laid out the right foundation for an even better sequel like BB to TDK?

@ForevaaEva
MAN OF STEEL WAS SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD. Henry Cavill is the perfect Clent Clark/Superman.
But unlike, TDK or even BB...I didn't feel myself the score added anything to the movie.

Man of Steel was terrific!!
Nolan has a special touch w/ comic movies.
LOL
Oh for sure, in fact...I'd say there NEEDS to be a sequel just to see where you can go in this world they've created. If you're mirroring Batman Begins to Man of Steel, I can totally see a connection in the idea that a MOS 2 would be a great successor to what came before...
...my thing is I saw more problems with MOS than I did with BB.
