SR is good movie IMO people just didn't get over that Singer made the film as an homage of sorts.. I really feel there is a lot about that movie that worked especially when compared to some of the junk that has hit in recent years with comic book films..

OMG this might keep Snyder off the sequel.. "Let Nolan make it WB that's all they care about"..

Nolan clearly doesn't want to make another superhero movie. Snyder's perfectly fine with it. ALSO, imagine the fanboy rage if the action sequences revert back to "Nolan quality" in MOS2. ;)

If Snyder has a good script he is the man for the job.. We have seen though when Snyder is more on his own with the script

Coughs Sucker Punch..

There is nothing wrong with Nolan's action.

Especially in TDKR. Avengers action was Poor Man's Transformers 3.

I actually wouldn't mind if they did more BIG practical stuff in MOS 2 ala the TDKR prologue, if that's "Nolan quality". Honestly my biggest fear with the action in this film is that it's going to feel like too much of a CG fest.

I wouldn't mind SOME wire based fighting, either. But I totally want to see Superman with heat vision, zipping around and tackling his foes.

Stuff with that much motion I think would be too dangerous to do practically.

Can you go into a little more detail about these perceived problems? Pretty please? :yay:

I may have to carry a main problem over into the spoiler discussion. :( I just felt there was a moment in particular that felt really out of place.

Everything just seemed to flow more consistently with BB than in MOS. It's not like MOS is a mess script wise or anything, far from it...but there were moments where things don't feel as developed and we feel a need to get rushed to a certain spot.

If I had to rank the team of Goyer and Nolan as far as writing and putting together DC movies goes...

TDK, BB, MOS, TDKR.

I mean this is Snyder's film and all...so he does a fine job directing (it feels like his most grounded and 'realistic' work in years) but if we want to rank it by those standards I mentioned above...they're as follows.

No offense, but there's no bones about it. You are a Nolanite

This isn't the Jonah Nolan, is it? :p

Man of steel just got me excited for the Justice League movie! It was awesome!

 Gotcha. All these review threads are confusing me! non-spoiler, spoiler, no-discussion...

No problem. I'm just getting nervous with. 8 days to go before I see it and I don't want to know anymore details . This thread is like a safe house.. A sanctuary from the storm of spoilers in the other threads.
