Oh I agree. trust me I don't want to face down a guy three inches taller than me with twenty plus pounds on me as well. I'm just tired of people not being realistic. I realize this is a movie and all, but I am disappointed. I think hardy is a real good actor. i think he will bring a lot of things to the role that some actors could not. I don't expect Nolan to trot out Kevin Nash or something, but I'm getting really close to wanting some special effects. The biggest disappointment though is the suit. It looks pretty lame in my opinion.

I don't doubt Hardy is in good shape, after seeing what he looked like in Warrior. And with lighting, he can look quite muscular.

I even have proof here in this photo I'm in.

I was quite big at this point, but not that ripped. But the lighting helps increase your visual size. As for height...well that's up to Wally Pfister

I do, and I have said over and over how I know Tom will be a great Bane and I trust Nolan will make him appear tall, but IF he's not, it'll be disappointing. And easily entertained? You didn't think Tobey was fantastic Spidey? I can say the same thing about you. Seeing as how you were easily entertained by Andrew's Spidey from the teaser, I'm sure you'll love any garbage you see in TDKR or TAS...

Imagine Bane in this riot but with a wrestler suit and a colorful luchador mask instead of what we have now, lol. Would look so damn out of place.

Might look cool in the comics but wouldn't fit this movie universe at all.
