The Dark Knight Rises Tom Hardy as Bane

Naw actually. His problems are his delts not his biceps.

Look how much smaller they are in proportion to his traps.

Delts are the most important for him to work out right now. By the way increasing the mass of your tricep will always give the illusion of a much bigger arm whereas biceps aren't that important in that regard as long as they protrude past the delts.

Ah, now I see it. Yeah, you're right. But his biceps are also important.

Tom can be pretty intimidating even without the size. So as big as he could get, he doesn't necessarily exactly have to get to his biggest ever to be terrifying. But I'd love him to get back to this.

Holy god

I'm sure Hardy had a work-out routine custom-tailored for the character of Bane.

Someone could use that shot for a fan trailer.

I hope all of you going nuts over Hardy's body are women, or else this thread is getting very, very creepy...

Well Im straight, but if he offered me a roll in the hay,I wouldn't say no.:hrt:

:awesome:

Did somebody just come out of the closet? lol

I also laugh at the fact that the hetro male posters obsessed over these actors bodies more than the gay ones.

I'm a straight man and love me all women, but when I look at him....... :awesome: :hrt:

Oh god, I haven't felt this way since when Heath was around. :csad:

If Hardy came up to me, I'd jump him.

No, not really. But I would sqeeze his muscles and then cry that I don't have his.

Man, you guys are creepy...

:shock What in the hell? Lets just get back to arguing over accents and tattoos please.:oldrazz:

Geeks are creepy?:wow:

I've been on here since 2003, it's par for the course really.

Tom Hardy is looking pretty freakin huge...and kinda hot.

And I think that should be the new name of this thread: Tom Hardy-When geeks get creepy.

Hey I'm a girl! Thoroughly enjoying Tom Hardy's body is part of my game. :awesome:

L-O-L at some of the comments here. His physique in Warrior is insane. I can't imagine how many grueling workouts, stress on his rotator cuffs, and mundane meals of grilled chicken and steamed broccoli this guy endured to get there. Its insulting to read some of the comments here by people who have probably never picked up a dumbell in their lives.
Yeah, I don't understand how he does it. I used to work out a ton when I was 19-20 years old, but I was never insane with it by having a strict diet. So while I was pretty muscular and cut for my body, I never even got close to what Hardy looks like.

I need to get my fat ass in the gym and loose some weight. :(

I like directly approaching someone when referring to them. Seeing as I'm the only one making some detail oriented comments in regards to where he can gain more muscle/mass, I'll guess that you're referring to me.

From someone who was in the water polo/swimming team for two years and did carbo feeds and ate boneless breast chicken sandwiches everyday, along with free weights training I'm within my right to note areas in where he can increase mass.

Nobody said his body isn't impressive but automatically assuming that nobody else on here has hasn't is preposterous. Back then I used to weigh anywhere between 170 (for swimming) and got back to 185-200 for water polo.

Even now that its 2 years later I still have some of that muscle mass despite me not having a serious training regiment since then I still have the muscles to show. I weigh 140 now and starting to do weight gains once again.

Not to sound abrasive but we can take this to the fitness lounge and I'll glad take a picture to show you I'm within my right physically to churn in on this topic even weighing in at 140 right now seeing as I've been heavier than Hardy but partly thats due to me being 2 feet taller than him.

I just really, really hate this notion that all "nerds" are unfit know it all.

Well I ate STEAK sandwiches wrapped in a STEAK wrap with STEAK sauce. :cmad:

I'm with you man. I got your back with this ****.

You ate bread? HFCS is no good, unless you were eating that special made Ezekiel bread. Still, bread is a big no no. Tsk Tsk. You would have been infinitely better off going with brown rice instead. Consider that some free advice. Please spare me the pics. No need to get defensive. I don't think all comic nerds fit the stereotype. But, some of the comments here are funny bc I know more than not many of them have not lifted a weight or ate clean in their lives.

All natural trader joes whole grain wheat with no corn syrup added or any other nasty preservatives. So there goes the HFCS.

And yes I did eat bread because my metabolism is incredibly fast. I always had to be eating back then to maintain that weight level and bread gave me "fat" which I personally needed just to keep myself at 185-200.

Which comments were the funny ones exactly? Because the only ones being specific in this page has been me.

Not backtracking are we?

Consider that some free advice

I'll follow your train of thought

"Not going to take advice from someone who hasn't ever picked up a dumbbell."

See how that works. :) :p
