Pro Box Office has an Opening Weekend prediction of only 95 million for the four day holiday weekend, and a domestic total prediction of only 190 million.

Like I've been saying since the first trailer, there's no way this makes more than DoFP.

That has to be 3 day. Or it is just low because we are so far out. If it does sub-100m, that would be a mini disaster.

Apocalypse would be viewed as failure if it only grossed 190 million domesticly.

That would likely kill any chance of phoenix/Dark Phoenix being done and it opens up
possibilty fox would consider reboot.

Those are terrible box office numbers I truly hope it goes higher than that. That may be very bad, though I just bought my tickets for the weekend so I'm happy.

with Jackman out the door after he wraps new wolverine film and studios
over the last 10 years i wouldn't be so sure of that.

If apocalypse is a success despite mixed reviews then fox will continue as
planned.

they already were with it becoming obvious they are looking to take X-men into outer space with a more comic accurate version of phoenix and dark phoenix.
Apocalypse failing would scrap that and cause fox to consider reboot as every studio including fox does when film now adays is viewed as disappointment in
a franchise.

This is false I think of anything they will reevaluate some things big time not reboot the franchise again.

The promotion of X-men: Apocalypse is pretty heavy. So many companies are supporting this movie.

as much as i cant wait for this film this film does not have alot of hype compared to dofp which had the hook of time travel/sentinels/2 casts coming together in 1 film

The most successful movies of The Batman franchise have The Joker, that's no coincidence. He's more popular then Batman itself. 630m and 540m adjusted for domestic alone for those films.

Joker is the main draw for SS IMO. I think Harley is a big draw too, not just because she's a cool and popular DC character but she appears to be a unique and kooky CBM lady compared to the more 'played straight' vast majority of women in CBMs
