Actully it's pretty interesting that a movie franchise about accepting to let go of painfull memory is still dueling on this

Yes but when you focus on Wolverine/Magneto/Xavier/Mystique for 7 previous X- Related Films you can't be surprised when the fans don't turn out just because your finally focusing on other characters.

Especially when Magneto/Xavier/Mystique did the majority of the talking in the trailer's. People are sick of Magneto he's Marvel's best villain but he doesn't have to be in every movie. Mystique is fine but she's not a main player she has more screen time than every female X character over 6 films. Xavier should be a support character not featured.

When you do what they did you get these results point blank period... Getting ready to watch the finals I'll argue with y'all later

This is what I'm hoping is the case by the next movie, if they try to tell a big story with to many different characters we will run into the same problem as Apocalypse. On that end I'm hoping its scaled back a bit and we get a story that can properly be told with one movie.

They looked better in the movie I felt.

Most people liked the costumes, but they were a little frustrated that they showed up so late.

The future costumes in Dofp made perfect sense to me, and I liked them fine.

It made sense within the context of Apocalypse for them not to have individual costumes. I'll admit, when I first saw the "flight suits" I was really disappointed because Singer said we'd have colorful costumes. And as someone pointed out, the concept of superheros has never existed in this world. They were more of a paramilitary/task force - so yeah, not exactly X-men but they didn't make these decisions just to PO fans. The decision was made and they were sort of stuck with it.

X-men costumes in the comics are also all over the place, and are often garbage, so if there was ever a franchise that could take some liberty, it would be this. But going forward, this should not be an issue anymore, so at least there is that.

Bryan inherited the status quo of FC he did no manufacturer it himself so you being so buthurt about the main characters of a series v of films getting character development is again asinine to say the least.

X-Men means a lot to me so when they change everything about it for no reason and then make a bad movie on top of it yes I'll be upset.

Because FoX makes these movies the comics suffer and we no longer get video games or animation or steady merchandizing anymore so yes I'll be upset over this crap

This I can agree on the whole properties thing can get a bit messy. We can't get some of things we want because a portion of XFranchise lies within Marvel and they aren't doing much with them because they have great properties they own the entirety of and can get the full profit from merchandising them. I do want cartoons,games,mobile games and steady XMen merchansise hopefully sometime soon some things change and this is more of a possibility. This is excluding the Legion tv series but on the Marvel front the XMen have suffered and dropped a bit.

I actually really like Quicksilver's costume. It's a riff on his Uncanny Avengers one while adding in the lightning bolt from his classic costume.

Nightcrawler's tunic looking thing is inherently ridiculous, I don't think anyone could've made that thing look realistic. Beast should've just had pants on like Astonishing or a jacket like in All-New/OT. No breast plate is needed.

Storm could use an improvement though. Something sleeker.

Come to think of it, the last X-Men game sucked and Activision doesn't have the license anymore so we'll never see another X-Men Legends or even Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Also they're X-Men characters in Contest of Champions so its not like Marvel is ignoring them.
As with cartoons, nothing will still beat X-Men 90's and X-Men Evolution so a new cartoon would have a lot to live up to. If they do make an X-men cartoon, I don't want them to be made by the people that are doing USM, GotG, and AA. I rater let Greg Weisman or the people that did EMH take a shot at it. As for the comics, well I don't think even the writers even care anymore about what's going on in the X-Men universe.

Those costumes look like they were made for Halloween and its hilarious that Singer had to include himself in the picture like he accomplished something. He's been asked by the fans for 16 years to include costumes and he gives us poor cosplay for 1 minute at the end of a bad film. Big whoop

It did look way better on the big screen. All of them looked better on screen. But I think they should start CGI'ing the cape and make it less busy. I kinda want Scott to wear that brown jacket over his costume too, but that's just a minor nitpick. Would be awesome to have a snow battle or something and see Scott wearing that jacket.

I liked TAS series but going back and rewatching it has gotten a little stale lol still love it though I wasn't the biggest fan of Evolution just because Storm was a teacher and she wasn't as involved in the show I preferred if they had just made her a teen though I still did enjoy the show. I don't even think it would be such a hard thing to make another cartoon I think people want it actually. Even having straight to DVD cartoons wouldn't be a bad thing but the focus is just elsewhere. With the comics I feel like the XMen just has the leftover writers or just are background characters in these main events nowadays.

Magneto does not have to be in every movie, and definitely not providing the same kind of conflict and threat over and over again. But, he was not especially prominent in the marketing. He did not have many lines in the trailers.

I agree on inconsistent quality and overused tropes. But, I question how many people care about costumes and comic accuracy. Online commenters do not necessarily represent a large share of the moviegoing public. Rotten Tomatoes did a really interesting analysis a few years ago and it found that comic book readers are not especially numerous.

Yup. Marvel are about to start a revolution with their games stating a new mandate to deliver AAA titles with the best developers and the X-Men will likely be left out in the cold on this.
