I guess that's an interesting theory,
Psylocke did seem to be the only worthy horseman other than Magneto.

Well she is the strongest Horsemen out there after Magneto. But God, seriously Apocalypse taking over Psylocke's body :huh: yes, it opens a big possibility for Olivia Munn to comeback... but deep inside, its no longer Psylocke, I don't even think you can still call her Psylocke especially if Apocalypse's conscience already took over the body. Then I don't see how they could even include Psylocke in X-Men or X-Force with that. But I guess, I'd take that over no Psylocke or no Olivia Munn in another X-Men movie. :(

These actors can't go into the nineties to line up with the original cast, every couple of years they make a new one and the characters are supposed to be a decade older, but they don't look it. If they go into the 90's Fassbender won't look like he's going to be able line up with the age McKellen was by X-Men (2000). The same goes for McAvoy and Stewart. In this film Xavier should be way older than he is in this movie.

Well, nobodys really aged over the decades in the comics either. Eric has to be in his 90s by now.

I wonder if Magneto and Captain America will ever have a conversation in the comics about how they were both born at the same time and both appear to be about the same age, despite Cap having been frozen in ice for many decades.

Considering what is happening in the comic now, that conversation would sadly never happen becasue Magneto would be trying to kill Cap. :csad:

I don't think that will happen.

we have no idea when original trilogy took place.the theory is they took place sometime in the 2000's.

Wasn't the timeline confirmed by the 25 Moments thing? DOFP takes place in 2023. X1 takes place in 2003. Everything else is in between.

Dofp is set 10 years after X3 so that would mean the events of the trilogy happened in a 10 year period which i find hard to believe

No, it's set 17 years after X3. X3 happened in 2006 according to the 25 Moments.

no.films themselves conterdict 25 moments.the viral campagin isn't canon of films.

not that it matters anymore when trilogy,origins,the wolverine took place.

It was said The wolverine takes place severals years after X3. Kitty Iceman are teens . X3= 2006. DOFP=2023. the25moments

X1 likely was set around 2013

:o What R you saying The Wolverine sets in 2013 not X1

Right!

X3 =2006 so X1 X2 = around 2005

Just saw it.

Enjoyed myself greatly.

Actually have no complaints outside minor liberties taken here and there.

Don't know what everybody who complained wanted out of this film but I was satisfied.

I give it a solid, earth-shaking 8/10.

If I had of gotten a little bit more action out of Storm, Psylocke, Mystique and Jean, it would've been a 10 for me.

My sis gave it a 10/10 because she was just happy to see Jean do something...lol

For me it was Jean Grey, Psylocke and Magneto. But Jean's battle scene was epic...I was like blown away because this was a long time coming. I wasn't expecting to see what they did there but holy hell, they weren't holding back.

Right!

X3 =2006 so X1 X2 = around 2005

if we take 25 moments as cannon then trilogy takes place in 2006 or X-men/X2 in 2005 and last stand In 2006.The wolverine has to take place before new sentinle is unveilved according to 25 moments In 2013

I want another x-men movie next year. Not Wolverine movie, not Gambit movie, not new Mutants, but another x-men movie. Unless Storm movie is next.

Chances are 25 moments is not canon

Well they said the wolverine was set 2 years after X3 and DOFP future portion was set 10 years after X3 so do the maths

Do we really think there was years inbetweern X2 and X3, how long was jean in the lake and how long was cyclops suffering for? D:

Saw this on Memorial day, as a fan of the series I thought it was very average. One of the most average and boring plots of the whole X-Men series. They spent the majority of the movie cutting to different scenes and showing a small scene with each character. The final battle was also one of the most underwhelming. Like Apocalypse just stood there blocking attacks and didn't retaliate. The only cool thing about final battle was the Jean Grey scene. But yeah the plot of this movie definitely felt rushed to the point where it just came out as a generic bad guy wants to destroy world. I think an Age of Apocalypse adaption would have gotten far better reviews. Perhaps Apocalypse was not the best villain to introduce for the end of the trilogy. Kinberg mentioned that this movie is based on many of Apocalypses stories in the comics. I hope this was a lie because the story we got in the movie was very underwhelming and would not make me want to read Apocalypse stories in the comics. I like Singer for the most part, but I sorta always feel underwhelmed when coming out of an X-Men movie more recently. I think its time for a new vision.
