Looks like the positive reactions aren't just early twitta hyperbole.

Good. I don't think any of us wants this to fail. If the movie is genuinely good then it's a win for the genre. Can't wait to watch it myself.

^ I am legitimately happy to hear that. I hope it's a great movie. I am still wearing my skeptical goggles but if we're past the early positive buzz and it's still staying positive, then I am feeling optimistic this won't be a train wreck.

I still don't buy all the loving tweets. Avengers is a big pile of **** and everyone was sucking that movies dick. I bet MoS had similar reactions.

Well that's how I feel. I want this movie to be Zacks best. But why would I trust early reactions or any reactions for even a second? There's a ton of eye rolling exaggeration already. Like "this is the best movie of the year, nothing will top it". Who writes that crap, 13 year olds? It's only March. Take your cape and mask off and be realistic people. People who already make up their mind about other movies. I see that people allow positive buzz to get them excited. I don't understand this. Even if the feedback was all negative that shouldn't crush our hopes.

You gotta take everything with a grain of salt until you see it yourself, of course. I'm taking the (so far) overwhelmingly positive response as a sign that the movie at the very least doesn't flat out suck. Which for some people may be a given, but I think that's actually a pretty big thing given that this movie had every potential to be the worst aspects of Snyder unleashed into one hot mess of a movie. It's also encouraging to hear that Affleck, Jesse and Gadot seem to be getting a lot of praise considering they were all heavily criticized bits of casting initially.

I'm in "cautiously optimistic" mode.

My only real concern is with the Superman character. I think everything else will be fine.

If it sucked then there would be more tepid reactions by now. The fact that it's still getting positive buzz means it's at least competent.

Like I said, I'm sure Avengers had the same kind of early reactions. I may be in the minority but I think that movie blows. Some of the all-time masterpieces were hated by people/critics when they were first released. Critical acclaim and early buzz means nothing to me. I only get excited before seeing a movie when I have faith in a consistent director or if the previous film in a franchise was a near grand slam.

My prediction is that Martha Kent dies. The death of two Martha's in this movie. And as confident as I am with the Gotham scenes, I can't imagine how Zack will win me over with that batvoice and Doomsday. My jaw will drop to my knees if I walk out giving a thumbs up for both of those things.

It is badass. In the S1 hallway fight with the tracking shot, Daredevil was completely vulnerable and could barely make it through the fight or stay standing by the end of it. In S2's stairway fight, he's like a god.

The BvS Twitter hype is great. The last few days as been the most genuinely hopeful and excited I've been for it since the SDCC trailer.

Doomsday kills Superman at the end of the film. Obviously he won't stay dead, but that's something you'd think they would save for JL.
