I feel like BvS is the new Batman Forever.
I feel like BvS is the new Batman Forever.
If Snyder actually love Dark Knight Returns (which he doesn't or have serious selective memory), he would have made Batman use rubber bullets.
Honest.![]()
Well Luthor was giving off some serious Edward Nygma vibes.
He probably thinks Batman used real bullets on the mutants. Just like he thought Batman put a bullet between the eyes of the one holding the kid hostage.

Didn't you see the infographic someone posted? He doesn't wear glasses or have a similar backstory, therefore all similarities are null and void.![]()
As the Snyder defenders would say, I guess I just didn't "get it". Like I didn't get Luthor's motivation, Martha, and all the other half baked drivel this movie served up. This movie was too sophisticated for me.

Guys, so, um....I watched this badboy a second time, and, I think I kind of loved it. The defenders were right. We didn't understand its hidden depths on a first viewing. The rewatch was a downright revelation to me.
April Fools.....
Hah!
It's still an awful flick.
Those Suicide Squad reshoot announcements feel so reactionary that it's just depressing. It's a shame since the film looks really good and David Ayer is a good director.

That's a relief.I'm going with the SS rumors being bogus. If there are in fact SS reshoots taking place, it's probably for the normal reasons that reshoots often take place for films like this. It's become standard for every single MCU movie to have reshoots.
There was no "announcement" about SS reshoots, just an unsourced "report" from resident superhero *****ebag Devin Faraci. He claimed that every single joke or moment of levity in the 2+ hour movie was shown in the latest trailer (which is BS), and that WB are doing expensive reshoots to insert more lightness and humor into the film. Devin also said he'd be happy if that were the case.
Despite how some people feel about BVS, I'm not like Devin, in that I can't get behind the idea of a studio tainting or desaturating a filmmaker's vision for a film in such a way to appease critics of another film, especially because SS already looks absolutely great and unique as it is.
Edit: Also, David Ayer is on record saying "the real shock is how hilarious it's going to be" roughly a year ago.
The movie looks like it's going to be full of dark thrills and fun as is. No need to add any cheese or bonus one liners to appease the masses.
Batman killed these guys. He shot at them and their dead.
