I liked her in the prison scene, but maybe that's because she's friggin smokin hot in that scene. :hehe:

But no, i don't remember anything wrong with her first couple of scenes unless i'm blanking out.

Yeah the arm movements was too much. Change up the laugh Leto.

Batman was hilarious in this movie.

"Deadshot, I don't wanna do this in front of yo' daughter. Psyche! Just kidding!"

The interrogation scene and the scene where Joker holds are down on the table. Some of her lines sounded like she was reading off a script in real time.

Why is that illogical? Fan popularity is what makes writers bring characters back.

You said awkward sex scenes between Batman and Batgirl. Scenes being plural suggests more than one. So I assumed you were saying Timm has done this a few times.

Back in 1992, the same year BTAS debuted, Batman Returns got a parental backlash for sexual innuendo and violence, that's why we ended up with Schumacher's more kid friendly camp fests.

Do you honestly think BTAS, a Saturday morning cartoon, would have gotten away with being peppered with obnoxious sexual innuendos?

Never watched JLU so I can't comment. But given your track record of interpretations on Timm's work in this discussion, I'm guessing it's not as half as bad as you say.

Fair enough.

Joker, you've never watched JLU? Seriously? JLU is the magnum opus of DC animation. You must watch it. It also ties in Batman TAS, Batman Beyond, and Superman TAS beautifully.

So they tell em what's up five meters before reaching the destination? .......

Deadshot: I don't save people.

It's okay Slade. Neither did Superman.

Deadshot is called Floyd Lawton. Slade Wilson is Deathstroke.

If DC decides to integrate other villains like Two-Face or Penguin into the DCEU, I get the feeling that we’ll be seeing the edgier variants.

Me either and i've only seen it once. I'm still hesitant about watching the Ultimate Cut.
Despite what you have heard, the Ultimate Cut fails to address the fundamental flaws of the movie. It's not a masterpiece as Snyder fetishists would have you believe.

Having seen both versions, I still tend to think there's probably a better cut that exists somewhere between the theatrical and ultimate. Not in terms of fixing fundamental flaws, but at least in terms of being more coherent without being so slow and having scenes that blatantly feel like they should be deleted scenes in the movie.

Is Jon Stewart talking about Superman's cape one of the moments that need to stay? :oldrazz:

Stay hesitant. It's 3 hours of your life you'll never get back for a cut of a movie that doesn't make any significant improvements.

what kind of emotions does this image bring out in you guys?

You underestimate the value of watching Jeremy Irons silently chopping wood on his lonesome, it's deeper and more brilliant than Steve Rogers and Tony Stark having an adult conversation while performing the same task in Age of Ultron.

Because the director called it art. :o
