He basically referenced the Nolan films and said that unlike those films, it's not a repurposed military vehicle but something built custom by Bruce Wayne, so it gave them license to make it "battier".

Not much to take from those comments, I mean it's all stuff we basically knew already. Going in a more comic-book-y direction, etc. I was hoping he would've talked about how the design amalgamates aspects of past Batmobiles, but it was a short segment as it is.

You're right, but the general audience watching the show may not get that and it might've been a cool way to show how this new Batman still pays tribute to what's come before. No biggie either way, once it's seen in action it should be pretty obvious like you said.

I am digging that Snyder's Batman more or less built the batmobile. The origin of the batmobile in Begins works, it does, but I like the idea that Bruce had something to do with building it and wasn't already built for him. he kind of lucked into it in Begins.

Only saw that movie one time but I found it boring and overly confusing had no idea what was going on the whole time. I find the whole dark knight trilogy and interstellar to be much much better movies.

Best thing about the prestige is how Nolan was able to equally tell the story of Angier and Borden so that it doesn't seem like the movie has a hero or a villain.

Only saw that movie one time but I found it boring and overly confusing had no idea what was going on the whole time. I find the whole dark knight trilogy and interstellar to be much much better movies.

How can a relatively straightforward film like Inception be so puzzling? Especially given that it often repeats the already pedantic exposition several times to hold your hand through the whole film.

Never watch a David Lynch movie if Inception is your breaking point.

I think the only way Inception can be puzzling is if you don't pay attention or you're one of those people that can't get your head around them going into people's dreams which I've had a few people say to me. I usually respond saying just accept they can and that's all you need.

Well, those people then can't wrap their head around a time travel story like Back To The Future or a fantasy in space like Star Wars or somebody going into your dreams like Nightmare on Elm Street? You should be able to suspend disbelief for the basic premise/genre, and then roll with it. THEN if some of the reactions of the characters are unnatural, then you can criticize that as the movie progresses. Or if they start breaking their own rules that they set up.

I guess if you don't have a basic understanding of Relativity, then maybe you could get lost? But even then, the movie explains to you that your time is relative depending on whatever level of dream you're in.

I agree, my wife found it confusing but that's because she wasn't paying attention. But others have said to me that they don't get how they can do it etc and that's what confuses them.

I think people get confused with the first 10 minutes when they're setting everything up and they're already in 2 dream levels. From that point forward, it's not complicated, but for starters, yeah, i know people who were all confused when it begins.

I never found Inception to be the least bit confusing. Instellar is the Nolan film that I can see people not grasping completely -- and by that I mean fulling understanding how/why everything happens in the film -- upon the first viewing

I never found it confusing either. But i get it because of the levels in that film. Interstellar? Only on first viewing, i can see that because of the science. The problem is when people don't pay attention enough, which usually comes from their experience with watching too much "popcorn" blockbusters, comedies. Which is fine, we all do it, but the people who are confused with something like Inception are usually people who aren't used to using their brain that much when watching a film. Because it's rather simple when you follow the exposition. Exposition is key in films like that, and it's there for you for a reason.

Yeah Inception was easy to follow. Now the idea of dreaming within a dream within a dream and so on was a bit, not confusing but pretty damn large to grasp. But the movie was able to go into detail and explain the dreams without sounding like heavy handed exposition like "How did we get here?" I loved that part! It's true you don't remember how a dream really begins and where you came from. Then the idea of time being slow, cause you have a dream that feels like an hour long adventure when in reality you were asleep for like 10 minutes maybe.

The Prestige was awesome. My wife took me to see that on our first date before we got married. At the time I was like "The Batman Begins director made a movie with Batman, Alfred AND Wolverine?!?! **** YEAH!!!!" And it was great, unfortunately have not seen it since I saw it in theatres, may just have to pick it up on blu-ray someday.

I can get how Interstellar can be off cause of the science, but they explained it well enough I felt. Usually after the conversation was over and I could digest all the science they said, I got it.

I haven't seen any of the tv spots. I saw the third trailer and thought it was great, but that's to be expected of Snyder.

Batfleck looks solid though, and it looks like it has good levity (though so did the last MOS trailer). Also Lex seems surprisingly entertaining.
