6.15 Freak - Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

speaking of Tobias and his "emo" hair, did he remind anyone else of George McFly??

the only thing i didn't like was blind guy's mtv hair. i kind of wanted to punch him, because you know, being blind, he probably had to either try really hard to get his hair like that, or ask somebody to do it up like that for him.

Haha I thought the same thing when I saw the episode.

I agree Kal, I loved that scene.

It really showed how much he cared about Chloe and the thought of harming her.:csad:

Yeah that was pretty cool. Overall it was one of the best episodes in a long while.

John Brynes Man of steel isn't even cannon anymore.

Yea but its still a heck of a sceen so I would love for that to happend. Tell that when the 100th episode showd Clark take a leap with Lana u didnt jump out of u seat. Well this time he dose not have to take her to the fortress of solitud. It should be a mix of the 100th episode and the Clark and Kara sceen.Im all for that but I still want the suit so they better deliver :cmad:

I was rewatching this scene (FREAK) and I'm really SO impressed with how great Tom is in it. I think KK is very good too, but Tom's whole demeanor as Clark Kent feels different to me. He's so much more mature and self-assured. I think that's why I can't understand the people who are still whining that same old tune about Clark's character not progressing. His inner growth seems so apparent to me this season.

TOTALLY agree!

Hey, while on that page, I watched the other vid from that same user. I've now seen the Chloe/HeatVision scene about 6 times (with sound). OMG! It still curls my toes...

The more I see it, the more I realize that's one of the most intense scenes I've ever seen on SV.

I loved that scene too. Although that clip cuts off a bit early--Lana's little smirk in response to Clark's reaction to what she just said was priceless and very uncharacteristic, least up until this point...

wow what a great episode! I just saw it now... heh been rather busy so I wasn't able to watch it sooner.
But Tom was awesome in the episode, and without a doubt this was one of the top episodes of the season.
Lex lying to Lana, and Lana protecting Clark's "secret" was just brilliantly played out.
I love the direction that they are heading on with the whole 33.1 thing, and how the show actually is developing a pretty twisted build up to the final show down between Clark & Lex.
heh oh, and who else here besides me thinks that Chloe's powers should be like Supergirl or something!
heh have her get all of Clarks powers, and have her in the suit before Clark gets his... lol ok maybe it's not the best of ideas but It sounded good in my head. :woot:

See, it doesn't take much to make me happy. An episode that introduces a revelation that could take the show to the next level, Lana exploring Clark and trying to learn more about him, Lex being Lex, Clark using just about every ability he has except for the giant leaps, and Clark making moves like an investigative reporter. Not to mention the great Green Arrow musical motif when Clark said a friend would take care of Tobias' surgery.

I'll probably do a larger review/rant this weekend.

See, you give Sage Superman, you make Sage happy. :D

what exactly do you disagree with in my assessment? :)
Hulk, sweetie.. I  you too much to get into this with you.

Perhaps it's more accurate to say that your assessment is true for a lot of people, but I still disagree with it? Does that make more sense?
