This is hilarious. And here I thought there wasn't anymore ways to make fun of SR.

Even if she is Carrie, with a Bruce that is "semi" retired, it's possible she WAS Robin for a period, but that time has passed and now she's just a confidant of Bruce, and we never see her in the costume. There are characters and things in this that we know for sure (the supporting cast of MOS, Lex, the Superman statue ect) that are not at all a part of TDKRetruns. Taking inspiration from, alluding to or dropping Easter Eggs is not the same as doing a direct adaptation of TDKReturns.

It's literally impossible for it to be a direct adaptation especially since it's leading up to Justice League so that particular fear remains silly.

That being said I've never been a fan of any Robin being in this film but that's just me.

I've always considered Robin my least favourite character of the Batman universe, it's never made sense to me to justify Batman having a 13 year old sidekick.

I'd rather Dick as Nightwing and Damian as Robin and that's it. But this is pretty sweet too.

She could be Barbara as much as she could be Carrie Kelly. There's no precedence or context for either rumor, really. She could very well be niether of those characters, which seems just as likely to me.

I dont see how that's some worst case scenario.

People need to jump off the train or just embrace it because we're definitely getting Miller-Returns Batman. And with that comes Carrie Kelly. I think she was great in that story, and i think it's a nice change on film. As long as they make references to Dick and Jason, or at least Dick. And then hopefully show Nightwing in the solo bat-film.

That's exactly why it seems highly unlikely that they'd have the Carrie Kelly Robin become a part of this film universe that doesn't seem like it will feature any other one-shot, Elseworld characters.
