Ive seen some clips of Mamoa, and im reading peoples reactions to his acting. People are saying he's a bad actor. Like just a big dude who has muscles when he takes his shirt off. Which doesn't surprise me with Zack lol. But that's fine for a character like Doomsday. If he's going to be an actual character who is human, then it's a problem. But i doubt it.

I agree with you a thousand percent about the crowded facade that everyone is talking about. I've been trying to get that point across for a while on this board.

Yeah, some of us make this point from time to time and EVERYBODY seems to ignore it. They dont realize that Jonathan Kent, Jor-El, Zod, Faora, Lara, Colonel Hardy & Hamilton are not coming back. That's a lot.

No problem with that. For me though the best villains have very good origins, or evolve in someway that makes them so formidable you can't help but fear and admire them. Killer Croc doesn't do that for me. Neither does Parasite for that matter. If there is ever going to be an unknown Supes villain in a film then for my two cents make it Ruin.

Probably just contempt for the director/writer or mos itself that has most folks worried. I remember how each new casting(announcement) during TDKR pre production was met with cheers of a sort.

When it comes to fans, you(and all your decisions) really are only as good as your last flim was in their eyes. Objective reception be damned.

I didn't like The Amazing Spider-Man and have no interest in the sequel but I didn't think every bit of news that came out was awful. I'm not trying to say I'm above everyone I'm just telling everyone my feelings about it. Certainly I hope I like The Amazing Spider-Man 2 despite by distaste for the original. I don't have any faith I will but I'm trying not to nitpick it to death.

WB is smart and no doubt see's the marketing glory in doomsday as it pertains to superman mythos.

That being said this guy could just as easily channel is Drogo work into a Mongol or Darkseid thing.

They could scrap ambition and just go for parasite/metallo. That would be the safe play.
However, with the exception of Gal, these casting rumors are almost never true it seems.

Metallo is actually interesting, especially when compared to Doomsday.

I meant they were smart in knowing how to chase money. The reason why they chose to make batman movies instead of wondy films. They are smart enough in that sense, to see the money in doomsday over lesser rogues.

I know it's like a pet peeve that I've developed. All these people bashing the movie before they know anything about it over something that makes no logical sense lol.

In regards to Mimomsa(lol) I saw him in the GOT and thought he was great but we can't really gauge his acting on that because he didn't have much dialogue. I don't even know if any of us know if he can pull off a larger role or not. I haven't seen him in anything else but he is very good at being a "bad ass"

A brilliant, ruthless career criminal who combines the intelligence and sophistication of a wealthy MIT graduate from the upper class with the cold brutality of a lifelong mob hitman raised on the streets who was granted superhuman power at the cost of his humanity and now struggles with keeping a grip on his sanity and getting revenge on the people who turned him into a freak with dulled senses and a machine for a body while balancing both of those things with continuing to do his job like a consummate professional. You've seen a lot of that in super hero movies? More to the point, you've seen considerably more of that in super hero movies than "huge dumb monster who kills things?"
