Wasn't Nightwing rumored to be in this? Because the mullet version is also surprisingly similar....:o

We got Superman, Batman, and now Wonder Woman in the Man of Steel sequel, and it turning slowly into something else and not a sequel to MOS???

So, my question is is this turning in to the prequel to the Justice League movie......... and Justice League Begins movie? Are we saying that without Flash and Aquaman that it's not JL, but we got the main three heroes in JL family and they are all in one movie, doesn't it feel like a JL movie. I think they are ruining that experience of seeing all these characters in one movie and just throwing them into MOS sequal way before the main JL movie, what do you guys think.

Are we sure Wonder Woman is in it? I've only heard Diana.

It's still a "sequel" to Man of Steel, since it happens after the events of the previous movie within the same universe, but it was never promised as a Superman solo movie. It really doesn't matter to me. If this is Justice League, fine. I'm anxious to see what happens. If it's something else, I'm still excited.

It's still a movie that stars Henry Cavill as Superman, takes place after Man of Steel and couldn't happen without Man of Steel having happened. It's a Man of Steel sequel no matter who else is in it.

Word, yo. The same thing happened with Star Wars and their prequels. Just because casting changes are made, it doesn't mean that they're more or less part of the original story.

Now that I've let it all sink in and I'm a little less skeptical, I'm confident that this can and will still be a Superman centric movie with Bats and WW as supporters. I mean, so far we know that Supes cast is returning (Lois, Perry, Jenny Olsen, Martha Kent) so this indicates that Clark is still the focus of this film. Now, unless we hear of characters such as Alfred, Jim Gordon, Dick Grayson, Steve Trevor or Hippolyta being cast, I think that Goyer is going to find a way to make Bats and WW supporting characters in this story. I think its a no brainer that Bats is going to be a foil for Superman, the question is what will WW be doing?

Snyder and Goyer said it plenty. This is Superman's world and we will
see Supes deal with the aftermath of Man of Steel's finale having to come
to terms with how the world now turns. Regardless of castings or characters, this is a Man of Steel sequel and aftermath of those events. I swear people only comprend what they want to read.

:hehe:

I got it!

People have been worried about Lois and Bruce hooking up. It's obvious Goyer and Snyder want to give us a love triangle of some sort. Nah, ain't going to be Bats/Wondy/Supes. They're going Nu52 on us. Ex-boyfriend's back in town to work with Lex Luthor...

But, instead of Johnathan Carroll... he's Johnathan Corben aka John Corben aka Metallo!

Oh, and they're totally going be like the Hulk and have Lois's dad, General Lane be all up in there too saying to Superman "Stay away from by daughter, you monster!"

I know, I know. It sounds too awesome, right?

If they did do Lex and Metallo it would be nice to see this scene

Yeah but at the same time you cant blame people for being a little baffled. Its like if Ironman 2 had featured both Thor and Captain America without either of them being introduced yet. They're telling us its a superman story but all these major DC characters are popping up so its a little head-scratching. I mean, at the end of the day, I trust them that they know what they're doing, just cant help but be a little skeptical.

The evolution of this film based on the recent casting news......reminds me of the oft quoted Indiana Jones line........"I don't know, I'm makin' this up as I go along."

That's exactly what this feels like.

What a total disregard for the military in that scene. He couldn't punch him into the air?
What if a helicopter/small military aircraft flies by at that moment? :o

It may seem like that to you since we really didn't know anything about this film and assumed we'd just get a Batman/Superman film.

Why be skeptical…we still don't know what role if any these other characters will have…they could all be cameos at the end of the movie that leads into Justice League…we just don't know.

What's so bad about skepticism? One can always be pleasantly surprised.

I don't see why Cap and Thor couldn't have been introduced in Iron Man 2 or Avengers...

Because it's unfounded…we don't know what role these characters will have. being mad that The Flash is in this movie and will take away screen time from the mains will seem silly if he pops up at the last minute to say "Hi Guys".

From my expert screenwriting opinion this movie is not cluttered or stuffed with characters…considering that Man of Steel killed off Jor-El, Lara, Zod, Faora, Jonathan, Hardy, Hamilton…and has added as far as we know 3 characters…Batman, Wonder Woman and the villain.
