Just let Affleck direct the Batman movie.
The animation there is fineI loved Superman/Batman Public enemies too. I also liked the animation, everyone else thought it sucked...
How many will say that movie is overstuffed and too much is happening in it?So, I just had a random thought...
The Batman (2019)
Starring Ben Affleck
Directed by Guillermo Del Toro
Villains: Clayface, Man-Bat, Killer Croc
My heart would possibly explode.![]()

You would rather see Affleck's take on Killer Croc, Manbat and Clayface? Nah! Del Toro has demonstrated a knack for monsters, his designs for those characters would be off the hookWhy Del Toro? I would much rather see an Affleck directed Batman movie than Del Toro.

I'd believe in Del Toro's ability to deliver on those characters over Affleck
It's not an argument it's a discussion about a hypothetical Batman movie.Considering that a solo film has not been confirmed, it's a bit premature to argue over directors. Simply, I'd welcome a take that is different from Nolan's.

James Cameron directing EVERYTHING!![]()

Kingdom Come directed by Terrence Malick, screenplay by Malick & Edgar Wright.![]()

For the hypothetical solo flick, I'd suggest:
1. Affleck
2. Paul McGuigan. After rewatching A Scandal in Belgravia and focusing on the direction, I'd say McGuigan could offer a unique vision for a noir-based tale.
3. del Toro.
4. Ruben Fleischer (based on his excellent work in Gangster Squad.)
Ah, that's another good episode!
