Wait. Never mind. It has nothing to do with Comic-Con. It's Del Toro's own Con type thing but still Mignola is involved. It starts July 11-13

Jim Lee won't allow another MorrisonCon for some reason.

If WB have nothing BvS related, then F this Comic con...Although I am hoping they are trying to keep a surprise a surprise...

They'd better throw out something BvS and/or JL to the fans. Snyder's not stupid, but if for some reason there is no BvS surprise thrown in there, SDCC will be a complete letdown.

Add to that there is supposed to be no SW: EP VII presence at SDCC either and you've just got a big **** sandwich.

SUre there's A: AoU and yadda yadda, but no BvS and no SW: EP VII??! At the biggest Con?! Crackheads all!

Depend which version of the character ;)

But at first the character is white.

Isn't Firestorm black though?

Originally, Firestorm was the hybrid of Ronnie Raymond, a white high school student, and Professor Martin Stein, a white Nobel Prize winning physicist. In current day, he is Jason Rusch, a black, teenager from Detroit.

SDCC is not exclusively about comics anymore; it's expanded over the years to cover multiple genres and media (television, games, films, books, and everything and anything in between.) It's not going to be broken by the absence of BVS; in fact, it'll go on indifferently.

I did some research and read that Morrison viewed it as a one-time deal, which is a bummer, as I'd like to attend a presentation by him, or if the stars are aligned, meet him.

I doubt we'll get Wonder Woman's costume at SDCC. Snyder may wait until he starts shooting scenes with Gal to reveal the costume.

Uh-huh...and a film about comic properties, two of the biggest characters in comic-dom (to include one of the top-grossing film franchise characters who, ya know, IS a comic character) not having a presence is gonna create an internet worth of ********.

It's inevitable.

That argument makes zero sense, but maybe that's just me.

Personally...I wanted some juicy BvS news or something out of SDCC, but I won't curl up in a corner and cry myself to sleep or develop a drinking problem if it doesn't. The interwebs, however, will be all poopie-hearted about it.

Mr. freeze boss battle in Arkham City!
His fight is really hard in New Game +
But yeah, it's really fun

Another thing: with the exception of the Mr. Freeze boss battle in Arkham City (which is amazing), all the boss battles have been repetitive and underwhelming.
Aren't all boss fights repetitive?
The thing that makes that fight special is where you hide every time to sneak on him

If WB is toning down BvS news at SDCC it's probably due to wanting to focus on films coming out prior to BvS. And to not give too much away this far out.

WB still will announce some films. JL will rock the house if the cast is announced and on hand.

That is a lot in itself and it makes sense not to blow their wad all at once.

I don't even have the stones or skills to try any of the Arkham games on NG+, haha. I just flip, button mash, & grapple away.
It's obviously harder due the lack of the attack indication, and attacks hurt more
But it's still playable

As for film announcements, WB to my sense won't go beyond 2017. That is 3 years out as it is.

What will WB announce next year? They have to hold some stuff back for 2015 ComiCon.

Imagine if they brought the Batmobile to SDCC 2015...

Yeah. it has much more impact 10 months out IMO.

I'm sort of scaling back expectations a bit.

The Nikki film slate would be awesome and there is a way in which it makes sense from a summer tentpole planning scheme.. Hope its true but have my doubts. Still, if it is true I think Mark Hughes got it when he said all won't be announced at ComiCon this year.

Or even Batfleck's outfit. It was confirmed that they will have some Batman costumes on display from past Batman films to celebrate Batman's 75th so we can only hope.

I don't think most people are expecting WB/DC to bring the house down with some huge BM vs SM announcement at this year's SDCC. However, they have to show or announce something in regards to the movie or the wider DCCU. Personally, I think they will announce several future films (including a release date for JL) and maybe a little bit of footage from BM vs SM.

WB would make us wait 10 months. While they let Marvel win Comic-Con.

I honestly do not expect footage, why blow your load so early when footage can be shown next year? Over marketing this film too soon is a bad idea.
