Again. WB letting Marvel walk all over them. WB will focus on the tv shows. And again demonstrate why they will always be behind Marvel in terms of superhero films.

I could understand this statement more if DC had a movie coming out next year but since they don't then why rush it and give everything away. Because if you look at it next year not only will they be giving us a preview to BVS but you might also have the JL introduced to us as well. Remember patience is a virtue.
If anyone's interested, here's a supposed "leaked" plot for Arkham Knight. I myself won't read it (don't want to have it spoiled if true!) but perhaps you guys might want to take a look.
Just to share my thoughts here also on this where there is more traffic,
I'd gather that:
The close up of Tim with that dialogue, coupled with him being kidnapped by Harley in the beginning, and progress of a more futuristic batsuit in the cave, leaves me to believe they'd be setting up the Return of the Joker film as part of a story line. Tim was kidnapped by Harley and programmed by Mad Hatter (which would explain his presence) in this version to become the replacement Joker.
The whole clone thing also refers to Terry of course, especially with Waller rethinking her methods/reasoning (she'll realize that the world will always need a Batman). Its such a good set up to get into the Beyond universe that its ridiculous.
Honestly, I like it and wouldn't mind if it was completely true.

Even though I hae doubts its real and even though if real I think WB will split the announcement over 2014/2015 SDCC, it does make some sense.
BvsS and JL will be huge. I won't argue numbers cause none of us really knows. That gives WB a massive 2016 and 2017 summer tentpoles.
Launching WW after JL is logical. Giving that film a post-JL boost. F/GL also gets a boost and combining the two makes it new instead of trying another solo GL so soon.
2018. Summer tentpole. MOS 2 actually makes sense. In the post JL world if MOS 2 gets the lesser boost between Cap 2 and Thors 2 (45%) it will make around 950 million.
Following a May 2018 MOS 2 WB can launch one of the other heroes in July of that summer. No need to go to a third DC film.
2019. Batman will be massive. over a billion. That summer's tentpole followed by another hero film that summer. No need for a 3rd DC film that year.
There is a way in which the Finke list makes sense from a strategic POV. Not that all the films will be announced a SDCC, but it could be a legit WB long-range plan.
Yeah, some people seem to be forgetting that BvS is TWO years away from release. We all know that next year's SDCC will be huge for WB/DC and BvS. They will no doubt show extended footage or a sizzle reel then, plus the cast/crew making an appearance.
WB should simply drop another awesome still from BvS to continue to build anticipation and maybe make announcements about future films in their lineup. They really don't have to do much more in regards to BvS, nor should they. Would a quick teaser with brief footage be awesome and welcomed? Of course, but it's not required 2 years before the film is out. No need for WB to blow their load so early.
I disagree. WB will focus IMO on films in their immediate future - not BvS which comes after these films. There is plenty of time after 2014 SDCC to promote BvS.
