I dig Supes and Bats when they team up. When I was a kid I had a reprint of their first pre-crisis team up when they discovered each other changing into their suits on a cruise ship or something. It was from the 50's I think.
I love that story.
Lois is awful there, just like she was in most of the Golden Age - Silver Age comics.

I personally would want to see a Joker film with Under the Red Hood an Scott Snyder's Death of the Family as the main influences.
I agree, that woluld be a good mix. Under the Red Hood has a juicy emotional component. Death of the Family includes the full Bat-family and could show the audience the rich history Joker and Batfleck have already shared by recreating some of those past crimes, but in reverse.

It was fascinating reading the latest report about Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice on Batman-News, saying in part that Zack Snyder had fake hedges built to keep the public from seeing exactly what he’ll be shooting in Mid-October.

He is the secretive one.

I had a quick read through the latest issue of Action Comics No.35 (New 52) earlier. I'm not liking the full beard on Superman. I hope its gone next issue.

WB as a whole is taking some artistic risks. Pacific Rim, Godzilla, Lego Movie, Gravity, Interstellar are all attempting to be different kinds of movies with varying levels of success.

Disney tried that, Lone Ranger was apparently better, John Carter was excellent but it didn't do well financially, so they're sticking to brands.

When it comes to movies like Godzilla, I wish sometimes there would be a time-traveling epic starring Superman or even some other hero battling giant creatures. One of my favorite story-lines I really liked with Superman was Time and Time Again. With rumors of a possible LOSH movie, that would be cool if it happened because it would open the world of time travel with the DCU.

or at least have Supes go help another world fight off some huge monsters. I know that's kind of stepping on the Lantern's shtick or maybe do a Warworld movie guest starring Lobo??

Well this is cute, McDonalds in Hong Kong have begun a Justice League tiered series of meals starting off with a Batman burger. Batman in his bio is said to be complex, solitary and committed. Superman meanwhile is heroic, invincible and altruistic. In addition to their burger, there is a Justice League display box and Justice League stickers.

Superman and Lobo would be a cool combination for a movie. Especially them in space together!

Id like Superman to fight a certain Imp from the Fifth dimension in the next movie. Itd be crazy epic.Call it Superman 5D

Superman has his own history of fights with Giant monsters. From Titano, the giant King Kong ripoff, to a giant dinosaur in the 40's Fleischer cartoon "The Arctic Giant", and many more besides.
Supes has been kicking giant monster tail longer than GL.

Um, they clearly have a plan. You might not like it, but it's indisputable.

In general when it comes to studios plans many years in advance I dont believe much of it. Why? Because history shows that when movies dont deliver the hit the studios expect it affects the movies that come after.

art looks nice
Story is rather awesome. Its essentially Superman vs the Devil.Throwin a little Allstar influence and youve got yourself an awesome Superman movie.

Actualy you misunderstood him.He was talking about how setting the Superman solo sequel in Space would be stealing GLs Shtick.

Do we know when principal photography will wrap on BvS?

So it's winding down...I'm really surprised how secretive this film has been! Snyder has been pretty darn good at keeping things under wraps.

I think we know quite a bit so far; when compared to the release date in late March 2016. We know that it will be heavily themed from the Frank Miller comics. Both Batman and Superman are older versions. The destruction from the previous movie will play an important role, as well we will see a backlash/anti-Superman theme in the movie. I think Superman will be put through a ring of fire in some ways in this movie, as he goes up against not only the public, but Batman, and possibly even Aquaman judging from Snyder's call into the radio station and his comment about Aquaman's trident being able to hurt Superman.

Once the filming completes, then they will spend months doing the other stuff (effects, music, etc.) But by then the toys should be announced which will be good. And those will give clues to further stuff seen in the resulting film.

And all of the stuff you listed above is pure speculation. The only actual thing we know about the movie is that Superman and Batman will have a face off. Everything else, including the destruction playing an important role, to Aquaman playing an important role are entirely speculation.

I'm dying to see something along the lines of those fleischer cartoons like the arctic giant
[YT]5gAT2sxwUeA[/YT]
the mechanical monsters
[YT]zkElf1KtaBs[/YT]
terror on the midway
[YT]lkyX3UGChU8[/YT]
in the visual vein of sky cptain and the world of tomorrow
[YT]cY3ypQD6p2s[/YT]

only modernized, kind of like in Superman:TAS

I've been loving the secrecy. Snyder really did an amazing job keeping a lid on things. It's amazing to think that production is almost over and we literally know next-to-nothing about this thing...as it should be.

Thanks for confirming that we know pretty much nothing about this film yet.

When is this supposed to wrap production?
