An escort mission would have been nice. Similar to W:ET or TF2 cart push.
It probably would have made the tighter style maps like metro more interesting. I really dislike that map, it seems it's the case with alot of people well after the beta.

I still hate it. It needs a major redesign. Had they of had a real beta they could of figured that out, like Epic did with Gears 3 and their map Trenches.

I think Metro is visually fantastic, but yeah the map design/layout is pretty awful for some modes. Rush can be fun, but for CQ it's so god awful.

DICE is looking in to a way to stop this. I think they need to start banning people, at least from XBL. Its against the TOS to boost like that.

It doesn't matter, boosting is considered a bannable offense in MSs TOS. Besides team killing, iv also been filing reports with MS on anyone I see doing it. Hopefully others will do the same.

No i dont report team killers, i mean the game takes care of them, but i do report boosters. Boosting is a form of abuse to the ranking system within the game, which is essentially a non sanctioned cheat, thus against the TOS.

I personally dont care if someone cheats their way to the top, i NEVER check leader boards, however, it does bother me when these people are doing this in a public game and contributing NOTHING to the game. It ruins the experience for everyone. I know they are working on a solution i just hope DICE can get this corrected soon.

I capped a couple boosters yesterday, I didn't give a crap. It was the first time I had seen someone boosting and bothered me so naturally I shot them without thinking of the consequences. Good thing it was a video game. lol

I do the same thing. I saw some boosting on Tehran Highway and I just shot a rocket at them. Killed them both. Kept doing it until the game kicked me. I'm seeing more and more of it, DICE really needs to stop it ASAP.

Yea. It involves shooting and repairing your friends EoD bot.

Had an amazing game just now on Operation Firestorm. I threw down a couple of M15 antitank mines on point A and reluctantly did I not only kill a tank with two people inside of it but a helicopter was hovering above it and I got the kill for the 'copter and the people inside of it!

Moments like these make me love the Battlefield series.

I love the tank mines. I love just watching a tank cruise up to the spot where you know they are planted, hoping they dont see them, then BOOOM. Dead people.

people should just play to play and not to get to level 50 does the black outfit really matter that much? it wont help get any of the guns, well some guns but not the awesome ones for other classes.

Haha, well, duh, it IS a first person game after all. They should remove the option to go into 3rd person altogether, not just in Hardcore mode. Its really a cheat to be able to do that.


I had 4 kills the other day on Caspian border. I stayed in the jet the whole game, i was a damn terror in the sky. They just could not seem to take me out. I did have some decent wingmen tho, so that helps.

They should make the EoD bot unrepairable. Job solved.

Thankfully I've yet to encounter anyone trying to boost on any PC servers even though I exclusively play hardcore, however if I do see someone boosting on my team I'd spend the rest of the map teamkilling them & anyone else helping... just like I did on MW2.
