Are all the Superheros under Snyder going to have the same kind of costume, It looks like the MOS suit but the Batman version.
Other than the fact that Batman and Superman's costumes have always been very similar looking, what are you seeing that makes you believe that?

I am talking about the look of the material that the suit is made of, I am guessing Snyder and co used the same guy that designed the MOS suit maybe that wasn't a good idea.

The general shape of it reminds me of a scaled back simplified Batman Begins costume, which I love. The thick creature like neck is back, though I hope they've figured out how to give it mobility this time.

Are we sure that it's grey and black? I can't tell from the lighting and black and white color but it looks to be that way.

The ears I was expecting to be shorter, I like them though.

The Belt is a thing of beauty.

Overall I love the design.

I see more Jim Lee than Frank Miller

Yup, absolutely. And I don't know why everyone keeps saying Affleck's new suit is bulky...because it's clearly not. He's got Jim Lee's Hush musculature, New 52 influences, and a splash of Frank Miller in there, but I do think it's more Jim Lee than anything.

I'm not quite sure what you're seeing but the texture of the suits look very different. Look at the regal pattern on Supes suit and compare it to Batman's scarred, worn look. Batman's cape and cowl are rubber-like while Superman's is a velvet like texture. Like I said, their costumes are very similar in any medium you view them in but here they're about as distinct as you can get given Snyder's aesthetic.

the **** storm when people find out who the new Batman is was INSANE. (dat petition)

and now after they saw him everyone seems to love it, ****ing internet.

The thick creature neck isn't back. His traps are big, but if you look closely at the zoomed or brightened image, his neck is thinner than his head (as it should be). I'm going to guess that the material around his neck will be a bit softer and more flexible than the material on his head/mask, which will allow him to turn his neck with ease.

He's looking down which makes it hard to see what I'm saying.

Suit's looking INCREDIBLE.

I hope they release a color version soon - is the emblem gray or black?

C'mon, all of us logical, level-headed folks knew this would happen.

Compared to the pencil thin TDK neck, every batsuit has a thick creaturelike neck IMO.

The flexible material route was what I was thinking too. Like the alien in Prometheus.

I pointed this out to some of my naysaying friends and they got flustered.
:hehe:

More importantly, there's probably a few cowls for different purposes during filming. He'll have full range when necessary.

^This is the best I could do with the images I was able to find.

Here's a re-scaled version.
Quality took a hit in the process.

Having a hard time figuring out what's going on with the neck around the ear. It's like a giant fold.

I don't know, maybe it's the lighting but he looks far buffer than I imagined him to be, maybe because I'm used to Bale and he always seemed much slimmer after his "teh puffy" days during begins.

I think this has made me realise how much i prefered the begins suit to the tdk/r one.
