Yeah, the sad Batman stuff is funny. But it's also kind of dumb when you consider that Batman ALWAYS looks like that. You could take stills from any of the Nolan films and do the same thing with them.

The "Sad Batman" thing isn't funny at all. I guess most people don't remember the first photo shoot of Bale's Batman as well as the BB poster...

Now THAT is a Sad Batman.

I've mentioned this before, but the opening scene of UP absolutely tore me apart. Not even 10 minutes in, had my popcorn ready, was diggin' the animation and the beautiful picture, had a nice smile and then it all took 5 minutes to where I felt gutted with utter sympathy. Can't remember a time where a movie strung along the emotional feels within the first few frames on screen haha.

I was surprised to see the 'sad Batman' comments gaining traction on the Internet. But Batman usually looks intense, or moody. Even when he smiles he tends to look a little scary (at least in the comic books.)
