Not sure if this has been posted yet. He looks massive.

It truly is remarkable how much he's grown into the Bruce Wayne look. I'd always lamented how Fassbender or Hamm wouldn't ever get to play this role despite being so picture perfect for it. But as the days pass, Affleck has managed to supercede both as having the quintessential face (and build, which no one really had) for the part.

It is remarkable. He's got the look, I just hope his role is written well enough to get a memorable Batman/Bruce out of him.

As a nice contrast to the TDK trilogy, where the villains were crucial and drove the film, I'd like to see Batfleck take care of his foes with relative ease, at least the lesser ones.

This is going to be an experienced, grouchy Batman who won't put up with nonsense anymore, and it'd be cool to watch him methodically take out familiar foes without much difficulty. I liked this part in Death of the Family, where he calmly incapacitates Freeze, Clayface, and Scarecrow on his way to the real threat, Joker. He's faced these enemies for years, and being as obsessive and driven as he is, it makes sense that he knows them like the back of his hand, and they don't really threaten him anymore. Batman is not the kinda guy who repeats mistakes.

So Kevin Smith went off on a rant about how he and Ben aren't really friends anymore, and be blames Garner for it.

Feel free to leave 2005 and join us in 2014.

Edit - Well, you're banned so I guess it doesn't matter!

I imagine they are more like casual acquaintances who drifted apart years ago...

There has to be some connection there still beyond a failed friendship that is in the past. I don't think Ben would be showing Kev behind the scenes material like the Bat suit when it was under such tight wrap if they "used" to be fiends. Awesome stuff in life gets shared with friends, not people whom you aren't friendly with any more. And being Batman on the big screen is thoroughly on the awesome side of things.

Ben never shared it with him (that was Damon). Zack was the one who let Smith get a peek, after the MOS Blu-Ray promo. And they (Ben/Smith) exchanged a quick email convo about it. That's the extent of their relations with one another now.

Friends drift apart in life. It happens.

Wasn't it Zack Snyder who showed Smith the Bat-suit? Not Affleck.

Ah, Great Rao! Yes... It was Snyder that showed it to Smith at the live event they did for Yahoo... Forty lashes with a wet noodle for me.
