I wonder how different it will be though. Like, will they go the Superman route and make "minor" changes? or go completely new? Because from what I can gather it doesn't seem like this Batman changes suits often.

I would imagine minor changes, especially after the amazing reaction this suit received. However as much as I like the cowl(and it is the best!) I'd like to see it a bit better. Maybe something ajcent to "Dead end"'s cowl. Also maybe make the gray a bit lighter, as to give better distinction to the black symbol.

Dude

I just want them to make the neck not so thick and rounded.

Why not? He is a billionaire, he can change his suit whenever he wants.:o

I know a millionaire (no billionaires sadly) who has had the same car for 15 years because it works. Maybe Batman is the same.
Having said that, I still expect it to change for JL. Not simply for toy sales, it might symbolise a change in his mentality.

I used to wash the car when it was new :D

The lenses are coming! The lenses are coming!

Tech cowl goes inside the regular batsuit? That can't be right. We just had a scene where the cowl is removed and it's just Bruce's face.

With what we saw in the fight scene, especially with that guy attempting to slash Bats' head/neck from behind it makes sense in hindsight. He has what amounts to Bale's cowl from the end of TDK underneath. Something that adds protection but also is computer linked to allow for scanning and interface with other things in his arsenal.

Superman rips off the cowl in a dream so that might be why the tech cowl wasn't underneath. Plus, Snyder probably wanted it just to be Bruce's face underneath in that scene. There is also the possibility that Batman doesn't always where the tech cowl under the regular cowl. It might depend on the sort of situation he is heading into.

Agreed.

Honestly, I'd love for them to move away from the rubber cowl altogether. Have a sculpted mask shell, and then stretch some type of fabric-based material over it (not to dissimilar to what they do with Spider-Man, but much more sophisticated). That way the cowl retains its shape, but the material forms closer to Affleck's face and neck while allowing free range of motion.

I wonder how many new batman pics are in that guide/ flip book. The thing is supposed to be 112 pgs long. So I'm expecting at least 6/7 new pics of bats and atleast one that's a big, front angle full body shot, plus the same for supes considering its a two in one book and I just ordered it.

This suit's black elements have a blue tint in certain lighting.

Ah, I see, thanks.

So the tech-cowl is indeed meant to fit the regular one... well, it explains the width of the neck (in-universe). And first thing that came to mind is what Krypton already mentioned - that shot of knife being deflected by the cowl makes more sense now... it was puzzling me since I saw it in the new trailer.
