I bet it's Butler, 300 was the absiest movie ever.

only problem is he was also trained by mark twilight who trained henry and he was pretty vocal in that articleI bet it's Butler, 300 was the absiest movie ever.
Henry Cavill's trainer Mark Twight had this to say about it.Not directed at you specifically, but towards the discussion:
It's my personal belief after what I've seen and read on the subject that pretty much every actor who has to gain a lot of muscle for a part is on some form of steroids whether they want to admit it or not.
The question is, should we care? They're actors, not athletes.
Who cares if their muscles are "natural" in a science fiction fantasy film with outlandish costumes, creatures, and gadgets. It just goes back to the silly idea that the actor has to somehow actually be like the character they're playing to be believable.
As long as they look good when the cameras are rolling I don't give a damn if they're taking a side of HGH and Steroids with their daily protein.
Am I the only one that liked Affleck in Sum of All Fears?

"The guy who uses steroids and admits to it earns more respect from me than the guy who uses but insists he doesn't and wants his fans to believe he did things the hard way."
Not talking about myself, but this is what rubs people the wrong way. People who practice recreational body-building and fitness training feel frustrated when the actor says on natural television that he did it by eating chicken breast and broccoli and that he did it completely naturally. When using FX, they tell you it is FX, when using make-up, they tell you it is make-up, they tell you when it is make believe, only in case of muscle, they never tell you it was PED, they tell you it is all natural.

Dang! Actually here's the thing. Butler trained some with Twight but then he went and trained with a Venezuelan body-builder Franco LiCastro. Butler said that he was "aiming for the stars" and wanted "to make people's jaw drop when they saw his body".only problem is he was also trained by mark twilight who trained henry and he was pretty vocal in that article
chicken breast and broccoli makes you built?

You're constantly ****ting on that diet, so all that water weight just vanishes.![]()

Rock in Pain & Gain and Hercules looks like there is more steroid in his veins than blood. It looks like he's sweating steroids instead of perspiration.i wonder what the rock does
Haha. When the actors gleefully tell you that they were on a 5000 calories diet or a 6000 calories diet, they always fail to mention that with such a big diet, you also have to take giant freaking 1 kg dumps in the toilet. You're constantly ****ting on that diet, so all that water weight just vanishes.![]()

Of course it lessens your achievements. It's far easier to train hard when your body isn't breaking down from it and you recuperate well each day. I've competed at fairly high levels in martial arts and I know how hard it can be to train, and I know people that have taken short cuts and heard about their experience directly from them. But just to be clear - taking steroids does not lessen Butler's or other steroid user's accomplishment. You still have to bust your ass and train like a madman to get the results they got.
So it is still an achievement. The rub lies in the fact that they don't admit to using steroids.
I am talking about actors/models/body builders. They are not competing for an Olympic medal. And they do have to train very very very hard. The bigger they get, the harder they have to lift to get results.Mjölnir;26731921 said:Of course it lessens your achievements. Your statement is like saying that winning a bicycle race with a small engine helping you isn't lessening your achievement just because the engine isn't strong enough to do all the work itself. The point is that you had it easier than others.
