Chapter 46 - "Our Father" - Discussion Thread 12/08/2008

Um... as in, he could have just done that the second he got Peter's powers. But for no reason, sat on his ass for a bunch of episodes then randomly did it when it was convenient for the writers...
Yes, you figured it out. Arthur Petrelli is controlling the writers:wow: The ultimate power to have OMFG HAXORZ:whatever:

Arthur didn't know who the catalyst was. He thought it was Claire but was obviously wrong.

has no villain ever done this ....how many villains have sent out henchmen to do the very things they could have done on their own. its not unheard of

anyways..is the whole comic thing done now can that be left behind with the final issue's pages slowly being turned as the next scenes called for.

Well technically Claire was never the catalyst:o

technically she was still the catalyst when Arthur got his new power set..and she was still the catalyst when Arthur mind-wiped Hiro. And im wondering how he even knew where to find Hiro and Claire in the first place.

Then how come he suddenly knew that it was Hiro and to be on the rooftop at that exact moment?

He did it himself anyway? He could have done it faster.

I do hope this results in a ban:o

:whatever:

Is anyone else excited to see Captain America suit up?

Well, Gilpesh you have to admit that all you do when you post in this thread is complain about the show.

Was there anything you actually liked about this episode?

Dude Arthur overheard Hiro and Claire talking as he got their, hell he was comeing for claire, but when he overheard Hiro had it now, plans changed.

Yes... it's only me that complains about the show. :whatever:

There's nothing wrong with it and I just do it to bother people. :whatever:

It was actually better than usual... but some of the reason being that it did things that it should have done awhile ago.

Hiro went back in time and changed the future. So technically Claire was never the catalyst. My guess is that he didn't know who the catalyst was as they talked about keeping it hidden. It sounds as if they had plans to give it to Claire and my guess would be why Arthur thought she was the catalyst to begin with. How he knew how to get to the rooftop at that time, I have no idea.

There were some good parts of the episode. I teared up at the Hiro / Mom scene....

Is anybody else absolutely freak'in TIRED of the Petrelli brother BS. God, didn't we already do that before.

They just need to do a spin-off that just has Matt, Daphne, Meredith, Tracy, Monica, Micah, and bring back Candice!

For all who don't know, Heroes Volume 4: Fugitives starts in February.

I figured out why Arthur and future Peter cannot come back to life. In Season 1 when Claire had the glass and the wood in her head, she couldn't come back to life until it was removed. I guess the same applies to all healers because their power lies in their brain.

Yeah , my girlfriend did also . tonight was one of the best episodes, they better hurry and get hiro ...
i loved the scene with sylar killing all the office workers , all those women ever do is find excuses ot eat pastries.

Anybody happen to know who wrote this episode?

It really isn't bs . The main villian of the season was the father so it makes sense to be so focused on them .

Right, but they've been the damn focus since season one. I'm tired of watching Nathan and Peter fight. I thought it was squashed at the end of season one?

Now we're all the way back to the beginning.

It seems that this entire season was bringing back everything from season 1 to regain the magic:csad: We even are left with Hiro in the past again:csad:

It looks like next week they will have a fight that should keep them apart for some time.
