It would be interesting. I just don't see myself being interested without HRG.

I can see it being akin to Luke losing Obi-Wan or even Batman losing his parents. Claire's lost her father figure (even she treated him like **** so far this season), so she looks for a purpose for her abilities.

I hope that Heroes learns something from great shows like buffy & Angel. Those shwos had me hooked from day one because I learned early on that the characters I loved could literally die at any moment unexpected.

This gave real weight to the decisions and dangers they were in. I knew that a character wasn't safe just because the actors name was in the opening. Made the show a helluva lot more exciting.

Well, I remember back in season 1 Kring said a lot more characters were supposed to die, but fans and the creators liked several of them so much they decided to keep them around, so it's very possible some of the deaths were just delayed.
