I mean, Batman talks with hoarse voice in the comic..

Conroy is very good...
But I don't mind if Bale and Nolan interpret that 'hoarse' voice in the way they do in the films...

Yep, it's been stated a few times that he has a hoarse growly voice:

Conroy is very good...
But I don't mind if Bale and Nolan interpret that 'hoarse' voice in the way they do in the films...

I honestly believe if Bale's voice hadn't become so over the top during his final moments with the Joker in TDK the issue wouldn't be so polarizing. I mean people complained about the voice after BB, but after TDK it was talked about way too much.

But now this shouldn't even be an issue, we are three films in, it's going to be hopefully more streamlined and not over processed, but it's still the same voice. So complaining now is starting to make a lot of people sound stupid.

I like Bale's TDK voice and can understand him. I've explained why in the past (disguising himself and transforming into something scary)

Coming from someone who loves the hell out of the voice, I'll admit, it might just ruin the entire scene for me.

It's weird, cause when Ra's had Batman pinned down in BB, the voice was perfectly executed to make it sound like Batman was being choked/being held - "Who said anything about stopping it?" - "You never did learn to mind your surroundings!"

But with the Joker it was just too garbled - "What were you trying to prove? That deep down everyone is as ugly as you? You're alone" - "No, but I know how you got these!".

Please Chris, don't mess up any scene with Bales bat-voice in Rises.

Ruin the entire scene.. I agree with you..
especially his long 'OoooOooo', that's what made it sound over the top.. hahahaha..

The fact that it's his final showdown with the Joker, and that scene is kind of 'answer' Batman gives for the Joker for all the Joker stands for in the interrogation scene before..

Let's hope Bale can talk like he did in Begins...

I'm tired seeing people bashing TDK film in so many forums just because Bale's voice..
