There are 2 types of people in this world. Those who bring their shopping carts back and those that just leave it inconveniently near their car.

There are two types of people in this world: people who pull in to parking spaces; and @“&holes.

I don’t know, but distinctly remember my wife once saying “anything other than poo is fair game in the shower.” But a few months later I quoted that back to her and she adamantly denied it. So who knows.

It all goes down the same drain. I mean I don't mind when the red sea flows down in the shower.

    Likewise!

And I'll neither confirm nor deny that. I'll just say it usually happens unexpectedly.

Wait...damn, that is a confirmation. Uhhh...I'm bad at this. *backs away slowly*

Same to you! From you & Babillygunn's comments I'm doing my best to keep my spirits high and to think as positively as I can.

There's nothing wrong with peeing in the shower... if the water is still running, that is. I mean, the water will wash the pee away!

As per your situation, @Wildcard - you're not alone! There's good people in the forum! And you are good of those too... look at how many positive replies you got!

I'm embarrassed to say this, but there are actually 10 types of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't.

I descended into that rabbit hole decades ago....probably when I was in the 1st grade when my teacher, Miss Hensel had us start filling in a 10x10 matrix and I.....oh never mind.....I'm trying to get OUT of the rabbit hole, but it's very, very deep.

I got an ultrasound earlier this month for my stomach and pelvis.

Once again, despite being annoyed at having to drink 24 oz before the appointment and anxious about the results, my doctor told me that everything came back normal once again,

Unfortunately, she believes I may have vertigo as many members in my family have it. Would explain the headaches, earaches, ringing, feelings of being off balance for almost a year.

Now I just have to wait for the barium swallow appointment.

Oh man......I went in for a CT scan and they had me drink some "berry flavored" thing.....I went up to the front where you check in and did a comedy routine I worked out in about 5 minutes....."oh.....BERRY flavored.....yum......who came up with this? The Marquis de Sade? Why in the world is the person who came up with this carp got more money than we do?" I don't sleep a lot so I was the first to check in at about 6AM and got them laughing. I told them "Hey, if someone asked you out for a drink and offered you this, what would you say?" Good times.....

Glad things seem to be working out well.

Vertigo is the worst......I had a case once and it ranks as one of the most brutal experiences of my life. I have a funny story about that, but I have to be measured in my ongoing desire to entertain everyone.....more later.

Because of my fear of the results, and every other appointment or medical issue I have experienced over the last year as well. I lashed out in anger at my own family and friends, shouting, hurling insults, giving the silent treatment and like nothing bothered me, which was far from the truth! I even got cold feet about the appointment, and wanted to cancel at the last minute because I was so angered at having to wait six months. My family even believed I was displaying many traits of schizophrenia, which had me in disbelief as I wasn’t hearing voices.

I admit I there are many times when I can be very selfish, hot tempered and even irrational whenever I believe I’m about to die. The swallowing issues, heart palpitations, and stomach issues suck! I have

God, I need to stop self diagnosing myself based on what I read online!

I’ve had Labyrinthitis Vertigo. It is absolutely horrendous. I also have tinnitus which reminds me of the ringing in your ear that you describe. It is maddening.
Here’s hoping for you to get some answers and relief

    Tinnitus, that’s it.

I’ve used mineral oil, had my ears checked several times, no answers yet.

    Thank you!

My understanding is that, if you have it, it is something you just have to live with. I’ve gotten used to it. But I’ve had it since college. Over 20 years now.

It’s even more frustrating as I have Cerebral Palsy, and my sense of balance has been off my whole life. Need a walker and braces just to get around.

That’s awful. I hate to hear that. Tinnitus and vertigo are debilitating enough on their own. I can’t imagine how rough this is for you. I’m sorry.

When you blow up, the best thing to do is to offer a sincere apology and tell people why you did it. Being afraid is nothing to be ashamed of and lashing out is a pretty common response to it. The vast majority of people will understand.

I know I'm a bit late but nevertheless, thanks so much! You're awesome too! ^_^

And I agree, there's generally nothing wrong with it, especially since there's no way of someone actually knowing you did it outside of you telling them.

I agree. I've had to learn this as well over time in realizing just how much words can hurt and alienate those you actually care about the most. Offer them your apologies and just let them in on what made you lash out. It's tough not to do, especially when you're going through things. But those who love and care about you will understand and not hold it against you.

These days I try to not let myself get angry over anything because of the complications that can come with it. For years it was the emotion I fed the most and now it's the emotion I access the least.
