Being a Virginna gal who can’t pronounce Wheelbarrow, suspect you’ve heard “Old and in the way“. Starring Jerry Garcia on banjo, Vassar Clements, David Grisman, and Peter Rowan. Subsequent to that, I had the pleasure of seeing a guy named Mark O’Connor just blow my mind playing the fiddle and guitar as part of the David Grisman Quintet. That guy is off the freaking charts.

And he’s pretty good too

Y'know, a lot of horror fans may disagree with this sentiment but I find Pinhead to be one of the most boring and underwhelming of the "horror icons" we have. Yeah, Doug Bradley is a great actor who gives the character an awesome voice & such, but I just find him to be so boring and repetitive overall.

I confess I love alien abduction stories. Not invasions although Signs was an interesting change of pace to that angle. But the idea of you and an unknown entity stalking you with the intent of capturing you for scientific experimentation or anything is terrifying. The Fourth Kind was a nice idea at this but I wish we could get an actual good film with this kind of story.

I went to the popular Gideon’s bakery and took the last 4 of their special churro cookies. Limit was 2 but we bought them separately. No guilt.

The cookie monster strikes again. This time at a Crumbl. I took the last Brownie Smore cookies. I ordered ahead and came an hour later just in time for a worker to tell a woman and her 2 small children that they were out of it. The brownie smore cookie was delicious. I wish I could have told them.

I chose Kelly Clarkson (second choice was Paramore) and they liked it, but the lady wanted something more modern... So Ariana Grande it was and it did not go well.

Also did my hair with multi-colored tips to go with the stage name. Like this:

It’s time that I found a new job. I’m tired of the constant negativity at my current workplace. The manager talks about people behind their backs, another is constantly angry and complains as loudly as possible and another walked in like she owns the place and gives orders while sitting on her phone.

The pay and insurance here is good but the dread of coming in sucks.

I saw Mark O’Connor in concert a few years ago, he is absolutely spellbinding.

My nephew works the pickup area and they make $15 an hour. Most of the other positions in the store are either $10 or more.

Nope, a transfer from another department. She was very pleasant before she transferred and I even saw her as potential gf material. Yeah, no.

I started out in OGP and it wasn’t a good experience, I was transferred to AP. It wasn’t bad but got boring.
Granted there is a whole new crew in my OGP, so it might be better.

I’m feeling hopeless. Everything I do seems to fail. My brother will probably be moving in with his gf “soon” and I can’t afford this place alone. I may have to move back in with my dad and may have to give up my cat. Meanwhile my ADD keeps making me make stupid mistakes at work. I need a friend or roommate but don’t know or trust anyone.

Is there any way you could get a small 1 bed place or are they too expensive? Sorry to hear of your issues. Do you get on with your dad? Also if it came to the worst I don’t suppose there is any friend who could take the cat and give it back when you’re on your feet?
