**** I thought Bullock said pugma
He threw a riddle, I should have known better
He was a bit too blatant, but then again the pilot did a lot of blatant moments. So we'll see...He's got potential.
Anyone think the Jim Carey-ness is a bit distracting? I didn't know Batman Forever was that influential.
I didn't see much Carrey to be honest.
Not a fan of the Riddler, and this little scene didn't do anything to change my mind.
I loved Carrey as Riddler though, and im not just saying this, the first thing i thought of when this new guy started talking was that it sounded like a Carrey mannerism.
What a perfectly unsurprising opinion.
The Riddler's cameo was the only one that felt ham-fisted to me. He only spoke for like two seconds but his voice bugged the hell out of me, as well as the "nothing" riddle he told. I hope he tones it down a bit in future episodes.
It didnt bother me, i just thought of Carrey. I just believe the scene was out of place.
I really liked him.
Didn't think of him as Jim Carrey like at all.
Hope to see more of him in future episodes.
There were 2 mannerisms that were straight out of the Carrey handbook of mannerisms..
And the big wide smile!
He didn't really remind me of Carrey's Riddler. He was just kinda thrown in there, but I still liked him.
I loved the Riddler scene, this dude has potential. I can see Carrey and BTAS Riddler in Gotham's take.
Talking and being a human male, I assume?
I thought he reminded of JIm Carreys Riddler too.
I didn't see that at all.
Actually, the Riddler being annoying has been a part of his persona since the beginning. If you found this portrayal to be annoying, then the actor has done his job well.
The only similarities I could see were he was skinny and had dark hair. To say he reminds you of Carrey after only a couple of lines is kind of premature.
It wasn't his look it was a couple of his facial expressions/mannerisms after he said something. If i could find the right gif i would post it.
Yeah man, I don't see it. I see 3 different types Riddlers.
Nothing even remotely similar there.
Yeah, the Riddler should come off more like an annoying pest than a true threat, at least initially.
Not if I want to turn the TV off or change the channel while he's talking.
