Have the writers given a reason for changing the name to "Starling City"?

This. I'd like to see him become the liberal he is in the comics, but to act like he's there now? No thanks.

Ya he's definitely not there yet. Although people make a good point with the money in the accounts, for me, that came across more for selfish reasons to get back at hunt.

Good news about Huntress and that sizzle reel is total win. Going to be a hell of a ride and I'm still amazed how good this show looks.

I think it was too "comic booky" for them.

Why do a comic book show if parts of it are to comic booky ? Its based on a ****ing comic book. Of course its going to be ****ing comic booky. If they dont like it then quit :o It being to comic booky is a lame excuse

Why make comic characters realistic? It's the new popular thing to do with DC characters.

So I've noticed. It's like making The Hobbit realistic. Stick with the genre, guys.

Savage, your sig has given me a bad rep :(

Doom, if that's seriously your argument, then why look at images here and not, you know, a porn site? Or are there too many 'ethnic' girls out there for your tastes?
:D:D:D

I assume it'll be called Star City here and there as a nickname like New York's the Big Apple or Chicago's the Windy City.

Oh man, I hadnt realized you had GIFs of her along with my quote :D

I wasn't expecting much from the pilot but I have become a fan and will follow the show. I don't know too much about Green Arrow in the comics, just as a DC Comics/Justice League fan. I was impressed with the setup and the action scenes.

Btw here are some pics of the Arrow DC Collectible:

Watched the Pilot a few days ago but just now getting on here. Really enjoyed it, the action was brilliant and I like the fact they just get into the story whilst giving flash backs to explain various things.

Can't wait to see Deathstroke!

I really wish we could see Stephens audition tape for Spartacus since it would be interesting to hear him with an accent and all Spartacus like.

Maybe it's because I never read GA comics, but I just watched the sizzle reel and....is this anything else but a lower-budgeted Batman Begins TV show with CW-styled writing and acting?

I know it already has its fans, but having seen several trailers now, I am giving it a pass.

you really have to check out the pilot and at least the second ep, DA...

it really surprised ME... don't judge it by a trailer until you really get the feel of it with an entire ep or two...

I was never into GA, be it in the comics or on Smallville, but I'm DEFINITELY hooked...

The sizzle reel is what made you think batman Begins? Why? I understand when we only had clips from the first episode. But I don't see it other than in the vaguest sense in the sizzle reel.

i hope they dont cram the villains in like the Cape did. anyone know how many episodes this season is?

Hopfully more than the typical 13 that most shows get nowadays. That's why shows like the Cape got burned, because they have to throw as much stuff up to draw a following as they can before the season is over.
