Deathstroke in the house!!!

That would've turned off a lot of people, including myself. A little mystery doesn't hurt. Especially if its a TV show where everything will be explained eventually as opposed to a movie that has to shove in a 40-60 minute origin spoon feeding the audience everything.
`

That's not what i meant at all. I'm not asking for explanations right away.

What i would've loved if they show things like how Ollie had to re adjust himself after being away from civilisations for five years...little things like that, not explanations.

As of now, everything is just felt rushed. He became Green arrow after about half hour in.Thats too soon IMO.

Well, you can't say that costume isn't accurate. If this was a theatrical movie, they'd try and alter it to be more.....grounded.

Dat Deathstroke.

:wow:

I'm impressed with Deathstroke's costume. The pilot was awesome!

Just saw the first episode and It was pretty good! I did have some issues with it but i think i can let it slide. I can't wait till next weeks episode.

That looks good, also similar to the toy released for the dark knight back in 2008 like someone suggested.

I looked up the name of who IGN says is playing Deathstroke on IMDb and it says he's a stuntman. I wonder if he'll only be seen with his mask in this upcoming episode, and they'll cast an actual actor later into the season.

I could see them doing that if they don't want to commit to an actor if the appearance isn't anything substantial yet.

I also think they learned there lesson about releasing staged shots instead of the Wonder Woman debacle.

Oh my God

HOLY ****!

Deathstroke looks incredible. This show is going to be incredible.

How do you feel about the face paint instead of a mask? The scene where he had to change back quickly from his costume made me think a mask he just slipped on and off would actually probably be a lot easier than having to wash off the face paint.

Yeah,I mentioned that before, that it would be awkward.Especially when you are supposedly priding yourself on realisim.

That's the Slade we should have gotten in Smallville. Arrow is going to get better and better. I wonder if Kevin Smith will write an episode of Arrow down the line since he wrote the comic storyline, Quiver.

SV's Slade gets B.A. points for being played by Michael Hogan. But, yeah, it would've been nice to see a mask. :o

Really happy the show debuted strong and that the first episode was well received. Hopefully the trend continues.

And I DID NOT expect Deathstroke to look that good. The reveal makes it feel like it's for a movie, which is also awesome haha. Looking forward to his debut in ep 5. If Huntress comes across nearly as perfect it could be a double win for the show and for fans.

But then he still has to wipe off the glue holding it on. It's something you're not supposed to think about either way.

Yeah, the trick arrows were what I was wondering about. I can suspend my disbelief, but it just made me curious because he had so many in a short period of time. Meh...not a big deal, but I'd like to see a shot of him building them or acquiring them.

He got off the car "ninja style" (not realistic at all), he dodged all those bullets Hollywood style (typical cliché of bad guys uncapable of hitting the target)... and you are worried about the arrows?

I'll forgive the clichés if the story and the characters are still interesting, the show has plenty of potential.

Deathstroke looks cool, I was expecting something more realistic, less comic-booky, but as long as the characters don't look ridiculous, I'll be satisfied! :word:
