I'd LOVE to crap out music like this. [YT]eM_C9_VRmZE[/YT]

That music is all great and everything, and I love Elfman and what he wrote for the original Spider-Man movie, but you can't say that that track is more emotional than this. [YT]A7TTUdkGKKw[/YT]

Horner wins this round!

I'm starting to think it's not going to leak at all.

Don't say things like this. We'll pull through. We'll get this score. And then we'll finally get to talk about it instead of every other superhero score on the planet.

My two cents: It's a tie between Elfman's and Horner's Spider-Man themes. There's things I like and dislike between the two. I was actually surprised how much I liked Horner's theme, though. Had he done any other comic themes before, besides The Rocketeer?

I am seeing the movie today at 7:30 and was hoping to hear the full score before I saw it. It needs to leak by 5pm to give me time to download it and listen to it before it screens at 7:30. :(

If they have control, I would guess the best day to release a streamed version would be Monday the day the embargo drops.

Haha, I have the same problem!

Tell us your thoughts on the movie in the spoiler FREE review forum.

Please and thank you.

Don't know if they would stream it then since it would be already released in some countries plus it will be live in iTunes store at midnight east coast or 9pm pacific.

This argument is silly, it all comes to personal taste. That being said, the melodic progression is a lot more predictable on Horner's work in this track. Elfman's is far more layered and soothing. And epic near the ending.

So, I say Elfman wins. That being said Horner's ASM music has an element of mystery that Elfman sometimes lacks. So I can understand you liking ASM's music more.

At this point I'm willing to just buy this thing I really didn't want to wait until the 11th.

Haha, I have the same problem!

Decided to work from home and go to theater early and work there in line while I wait. There was already 10 people in line and one of the dudes said that each of them have a plus one or two so I am already 20-30 people back in line.

Normally I would be upset at the line savers or the people who think they can show up late and still get in because a friend is holding their spot, but I am holding a spot for three of my friends :/

They let you use a laptop in line? (Assuming you are using one)

Yes. The theater is located in the Metreon in SF that also has free wifi. There are many people who come here to food court with their laptops. Plus they don't mind if you use it upstairs in theater in line. Of course they won't let you use it in the actual theater room and sometimes they make you check your bags and phones for an advanced screening. But that is usually not until they start letting you in.

Trying not to lose my sanity in anticipation for this album, I have been putting on repeat the trailer 3 music (An Ideal For Hope is what I called it) for the past month.

235 plays. I'm not going insane, right? Right?

Anyways getting back on point this thing needs to leak soon so I can listen to it to help pass the time in line :)

Honestly, that's not going to happen. Maybe next week.

Yes I am pretty sure it will leak on June 11 at midnight when it is released :yay:

Anyways it looks like this won't leak anytime within the next 3 hours before I see Man of Steel so at least I get to hear a majority of the score in context when I see the movie.

Just listening to the samples and the few full songs for now.

The score will leak with full tracks pretty soon.

Small music review: Just got back home from seeing this. No spoilers of the movie, but putting in spoiler tags just in case:

The music was awesome of course and totally matched the style of the movie. There is still only the three recurring themes that I heard throughout the samples and songs we already have. So no actual theme just like Nolan's Batman movie had no real theme. If Molossus is considered the closest thing to a theme in TDK Trilogy then I would say either the trailer music or the theme you hear at the end of the I Will Find Him sample is the theme. Or at least the ending of I Will Find Him sample is the thing I keep humming to myself after seeing the movie.

Now I can't wait for this to leak even more!!!

Knowing Zimmer, I don't think there will be an official theme. There will be several tracks heard throughout the movie. But right now, if I had to "choose" what I think could be or at least should be the theme, it would be "Flight" or the music played in trailer 3.
