^That is so full of win.
Well, I'm glad they haven't spoiled the CK with glasses look.

It was work... a lot of work! I have always loved sports and physical activities, but I have never worked out like this before. To become Clark Kent, I had to be the best friend of Mark Twight, my trainer!
The program involved three stages. The first was to gain weight/mass. So I spent weeks eating nearly 5000 calories daily while lifting extremely heavy, to grow bigger. I love eating, so this stage was not difficult for me, even though I can understand that some people end up having enough of drinking protein shakes 1000 calories a glass. At the end of this stage, I looked like a swole bodybuilder, and I felt like I was going to explode.
The second stage was to lose fat to sculpt the muscles. I had to do hours and hours of cardio to burn all the fat.
And in the last stage, we targeted specific areas of the body. Mark helped me to make my abs bulge out and my muscles more defined.
The workout program was designed according to the needs of the film. The only thing I did not like is the rowing machine, a machine that simulates the movement of rowing. It is torture!
Today, I'm not as muscular (as then), so don't ask me to lift my shirt to check: I (really) am not!
I can not say that (the workout) was the most difficult part of the filming, because it never lasted more than two hours per day. But on the other hand, it was extremely intense. Mark Twight based his technique on going beyond yourself. After a workout, I was gutted because, instead of slowing down towards the end, Mark asked me to actually work harder and harder for the body to reach its limits. He reiterated that, when one of his clients is able to walk out of the gym, they had not worked hard enough... The real challenge for me, was working the long hours. It was not uncommon for me to spend 16 hours on the set per day!
probably the same way it's always been handled, a few additional appearance changes, and the rest is suspension of disbelief, the glasses has always been a stretch that doesn't hold under scrutiny, and calls for the audience to simply suspend their disbelief.Even with glasses i think cavil's looks and defined features would stretch the credulity of people not recognizing right off the bat they are the same person?
I wonder how they are going to pull off this aspect?
By underplaying it I think. Lois and Perry will know he's Superman in the office. Everyone else will not pay any attention to him.Even with glasses i think cavil's looks and defined features would stretch the credulity of people not recognizing right off the bat they are the same person?

well said!!!Is Superman cool? It doesnt get any cooler. I mean hes got all the cool superpowers and hes cool. People say ok Supermans not cool. What because he does the right thing all the time? How is doing the right thing not a cool thing to do?

Why would people suspect Superman of being in disguise at all? He doesn't wear a mask and once he makes his entrance, he seems to be pretty upfront and open about being who he is, so I think most would assume he's just Superman 24/7. Clark would just be some guy nobody pays attention to who's lucky enough to look kinda like Superman...but, ya know, a little schlubbier and less impressive.Even with glasses i think cavil's looks and defined features would stretch the credulity of people not recognizing right off the bat they are the same person?

I'd like to thank him for his hard work. I appreciate it tremendously.![]()

I mean, Jimmy would too, but he's been left out of the movie (maybe that has something to do with why).

To be honest, until the MOS advertising barraged me with Henry's face everywhere, I couldn't have picked him out of a lineup of similar good-looking, rugged, brunette guys.He doesn't have a very distinctive look, he's mostly generically (but EXTREMELY) handsome.
Sounds fine to me. -shrug-I love Cavill and all, but am I the only one who thinks his American accent isn't really consistent? It seems like he's fighting against his Brit accent most of the time. Specifically in the new clips, "Maybe a little bit murr", "Oive got so many questions" and the most forced sounding, "It hurts, doesn't it?".
I'm a graphic designer. I have an eye for detail too. Some people have a well-developed eye for detail though. I consider myself one of those people. In my opinion, just about everyone has a somewhat distinctive look -- some more than others, of course.
I think what Malone was trying to say, though, is that someone with a striking appearance will likely stand out among others who are more average looking.

maybe thats one of the ways they will change between Superman and Clark Kent, as Clark he will use his british accent![]()
