I'm a graphic designer. I have an eye for detail too.But Henry is much more generically handsome than say, Chris Pine, who has VERY distinctive look. I still have trouble telling apart supposedly famous models, because they all look the same to me.
I have to stare at them for a while to gather what's distinctive about each one.
I guess it depends on how much they want Superman to be out in public, getting his picture taken and printed in glossy magazines everywhere. (We all know newspaper printing is crap.) Cause if THAT happens, it would be harder to keep it on the down low, especially if Clark is running around.
But in general, I think the "everyone thinks Superman is Superman 24/7" will suffice in throwing people off Clark. There have been instances where actors will practice getting into a character by living like them, and nobody recognizes them. Why would Tom Cruise be delivering UPS packages?![]()
That's kind of my point. For the most part, I don't have to stare at anyone a while to know what's distinctive about each one. I can see what's distinctive right away whether it's the shape of a nose or a slight difference in coloring, whatever. I actually have an issue with labels and stereotypes when it comes to people because, from my perspective, human beings exhibit far too much variation to be put in selective boxes so to say. I don't like when people generalize. That's another story for another type of thread though.

::Looks up Pine:: He doesn't appear to be a whole lot more distinctive looking than HC to me. Thanks to Andreth, we know that HC has heterochromia, right? He also has curly hair unlike most actors who have portrayed Supes at one time or another. Plus, he has a slightly broken nose.
"Everyone thinks Superman is Superman 24/7.." They do?
