I don't see why he would. From the castings we've seen and the ending of Dark Knight the cops will be a fairly big part and Joe was the only one they bothered to make a press release for. I imagine he'll share a lot of scenes with Gary.

I only possibly assume that b/c he's a made up character. Usually characters made for the films only have small roles. Of course there are exceptions like Rachel.

He'll have a bigger role then characters like Reese, Ramirez, and Stephens. He'll probably have screentime like Maroni, who had a fair amount of screentime and dialogue for a supporting character. Probably more then that, even.

This. Anybody who doubts JGL's talent should watch Mysterious Skin. It's not an easy film to sit through because of the subject matter, but worth it for his performance.

Catwoman and Blake in High School

I haven't seen the film myself, but I heard it was bad. As far as his early films go, I can recommend Manic though. This movie shows that he can appear quite menacing despite his boyish looks.
